    I think Aix's flying attack isn't that bad. It's basically the one you can immediately end with the Rocksteady Guardian or Cyan Heron once you see the red flash, which is a sign that the boss will perform the Tekken 10-hit combo equivalent (you should also be able to cancel its attack anytime during its string). While equipping Cost 4 Echoes is the more popular choice because they allow you to deal more DPS, Cost 3 like the ones I mentioned before is so damn underused and underrated even though they're actually better in term of practicality.
    Rocksteady Guardian, in particular, is a very good Echo. Here's a case where I used it against Crownless: it can stop Crownless' signature combo, grants you shield and let your DPS deal damage since bosses will be momentarily staggered when their signature attack is interrupted.

    i think these are great bosses but not great for repeatable bosses, that have timelimits around them. As a story boss they where perfect and really interesting though. So actually they just need to be adjusted for specific content

      This logic applies to jue pretty well, cause it worked in story cause the fight was tailored TO JINHSI SPECIFICALLY.......and then if u try using anyone else after(oru dont own jihnsi) then well.........have fun missing 50% of ur hits

    Small tip against bosses. Always use lock on especially the flying one, even not flying one can jump around like scar and monkey so its better to just lock on them and spare yourself the headache to adjust camera constantly.
    Edit: Never use lock on the turtle Btw, it's legs or bell on top will stays locked and it's annoying to hit when he is down.

      If i lock on i can not able to see grapple point on the bell. Sometimes stucking under the boss also annoying. It has 5 lock points, legs and its head, i am console player and i play this game with gamepad, in Nioh 2 tapping left stick change the target iirc but this is not suitable for keyboard i guess. Locking on and choosing which part to lock on very tedious. I never use hard şock on turtle after first couple fight. Sorry for my poor English.

    BIG tip for Bell Borne.
    Place a Waypoint right in front of it. After it's starting to move (yes, start of battle), travel to that location using waypoint. You don't have to wait 15 seconds (but 2-3 seconds instead)

    Most of these are about the camera angles,not really the bosses themselves(their attacks and animations) ,and that always happens when they are a very big boss

    Jue was a cool event/story boss because the spectacle and unique mechanics work well enough as a one time fight, but farming him is hell. I personally liked the problems that Aix and Heron presented. You need to do more than just dodge or counter at the right time. It's fine that the combat revolves mostly around those mechanics, but if that's it it's kinda boring

    The Mech Abomination's instant kill grab attack (in Tower of Adversity) that can home in on you even from 180 degrees is just horrible, IMO. It's just garbage game design. You have no way of doing anything to avoid it when you can't even see it coming because you're behind the boss. It's bad.

    But we only went highest floor when you need mats, and there are only like 2 characters who needed Jue mats and it will take you almost a month to get to UL 50 - 60. So I think it's not that big deal.....
    Lower stage is just for farming echoes, except for the turtle but still it is not very big deal either....
    If Jue ever featured in ToA, they will nerf its attack patterns too...

    Yeah, honestly I feel like Jue is just...Annoying. Not even difficult, just the way it moves around way too much makes it hard to hit for no good reason. It's just a big time noodle the way the bastard keeps wiggling around.

    grappling counters Heron's fire completely. The stream of fire coming down doesn't do damage, just the effect on the ground itself. I'll grapple into that shit and float in the fire stream until it stops and take zero damage.

      You can also just stand under it. It only breathes in front of itself, so once it passes you you're safe.

    Hoping for next patch they must remove the roar animations on bosses when hit,instead theyre automatic taking damage when hitting no roraring animation, they must roar in the middle of the fight or when buffing themselves

      And jump stomp relentlessly, i hate Azdaha, he and general combat in genshin look like, they try to gang bang and i fight back with unga bunga, because of their understanding of difficulty, they are put restrictions on players to make it harder, i hate lightning attacks in theater, this is look like to me they say” you better kill the enemy in time limit or die, othervise we enjoy to kill you with lightning” this is rude. (I start with 3.8 my character count and their constellations low, i buy xiangling first copy in shop last shop, now c1) Sorry for my poor English.

    I honestly don't think damage downtime as a bad thing. I feel like they could easily balance these bosses by just artifically lowering the HP to alleviate the longer time it takes to kill the bosses anyways. If you think about it, almost every character is balanced around damage downtime. And I don't think its necessarily fair to say bosses that you can constantly whack (like the mech abomination) is necessarily more fun. I can understand your point though.

    Aix annoying homing attack is the only major issue why i can`t even reach pass half health.
    The other Holo boss at least have a pattern you can react to and most of them doesn`t instant kill, but with this move it pretty much 90% guarantee to kill your character.

    Excellent analysis.
    I think Genshin's Abyss got me in the "I don't care zone", where I'll try it a few times to beat it but full stars on a clear is something I figure I'll never get (thanks to the Wenut and other similar bosses in the Abyss). After 2.5 years, I just shrug and say "I'll never get 36*s and that's fine."
    I don't want that kind of apathy with WuWa.

    Jue is... just delete that shit. Can't say i had a lot of bad experience with Heron or Aix. Mech Abomination feels like it just stand and doesn't really do anything, same with turtle.
    Scar's main problem for me - he doesn't speak, that's not a character who will fight in a awkward silence. Also i feel like bosses in general need more sound effects, roars and stuff.

    The Mourning Aix and Impermanence Heron can be neutralized with counters from specific 3 cost echoes. I don't know if that's bad or better game design but it's something.

    it's subjective, i like herone, ye jué runs a lot and he deals no damage, turtle have camera problems, other than that like them. I like mecanics that requires you to do specific actions like destroying armor or dodge.

    Jue isn't a problem imo, just use a ranged attacker and damage can be easily dealt with. I think most players are sword users/close combatants and Jue spending time in the air minimizes their reach. I only see players having problems with that boss if they are trying to speed run the fight.
    Jue is definitely not meant to be a time gated boss fight. And as much as I hate the flappy seaweed of a aix and that stupid cat, you definitely need skills to beat em.

    i dont think youre supposed to kill every bosses the same way. if you want to easily kill the dragon, bring pistol user. when its hovering in the sky and the grapple notif on its head, grapple to it and shoot in the air immediately. every shot of the bullet is the same vibration damage of intro skills.
    tldr just because the boss is flying and your built resonators cant kill it with a single rotation, doesnt mean you should beg kuro to make it walk instead.. like, cmon its a dragon..

      and all these kids here complaining about weekly boss like bruh. I bet their ass still haven't done holo mephis 3rd yet. I bet their verina heals a lot because their asses getting smacked a lot. I didn't even get my verina past lv50. I can't and won't unlock her revival trait (lv60) until im completely good at this game

      My jinshi sanhua takes a min and half to clear jue. Jinshi att while in air. And sanhua att while on ground for 4-6s. Which is enough to input all her dmg. And jinshi intro casted in air helps to track jue a lot. As sanhua circuit Is always full

    Aix worst attack is always the homing feathers, they fly in so fast with barely a visual indicator. If you don't dodge/ult at the right time then your character is one shot. You can predict when it does it, just requires more practice.

      The homing feathers moves are scripted attacks after you failed a parry tho, the more accurate description is that the parries has no dang visual indicator leading to the feathers 1shot ya

    Jue without flying is just a long snake? I like Jue because his moveset made me remember Divine dragon from Sekiro.
    People need to stop complain when they cant defeat bosses in 1shot, luckily they dont even have a 2nd phase or specific mechanic you need to complete to finish them, drag the fight longer.
    Do you guys actually can not kill Jue in under 5 mins or anything?

    In case of flying bosses, rather than taking away their flying moves i prefer 2-3x faster animation on those parts, i hope kuro design more bosses that encourage people to keep adapting to situations, and to whoever is/are the mf that gave kuro the idea to nerf Scar, skill issue.

    Genshin's Wenut is killable within the set time constraints on the abyss. Kuro's monsters are just pain in the butt to deal with.

    I think they can keep these bosses in ToA but with more time added to the timer. This would compensate for longer animations.
    Other than Jue. Sorry but they're quite bad. Their fight makes sense lore wise bc they don't want to actively harm Jinhsi but it's just not fun.

    not using grapling hook while fighting Jue is indeed a bad decision. I aggree however that such a kinda of boss is unsuited for ToA

    I disagree with your takes on Yue being a bad boss. Yes she can fly. But so can you, Changli, Jinhsi and soon the painter girl all have very floaty gameplay with teleport on their Intro skill.
    If your good at them, you don't even need to touch the floor even once and can chase Yue by teleportating.
    I really like this as Yue feels so unique to fight and I often save the Intros just for the gapclosing teleport intros.

      If they did that, you would be able to max your characters in like several days max (depending on having solvents or not). That's not the point, it would make the game and character building hella boring. So yeah, it's good to have a limit, plus you can actually challenge them as many times as you want, you just can't claim more rewards 🤷🏻‍♀️ and yes, you can claim echo even without claiming rewards.

      @@onion69420....Pretty sure putting a limit will not pump the playtime that's pretty contradictory, its time gate really for people who are whales not to make them immediately get bored cause they got nothing to do after maxing every char.
      Alot of stuff are seriously time gated (typical gacha) which won't up playtime of players especially for F2P or mostly F2P, once you've reached Lvl 80-90 for char. everything is expensive (the required Credits) & Materials to lvl up char. & weap,skills & echos, for me atm im just farming credits because how expensive it is to max a char. but once im done with main dps i don't really need to care about material problems anymore because its not like i plan to build every 4 star also that will depend whether i can get lucky of getting them in S6 then i might also don't plan to lvl 90 the support you really don't need to atm.

    Bro using Jinhsi to kill Jue is peak stupidity. Jue has high spectro resistance so using Jinhsi to kill him is gonna take years.
    Killing Jue is all about first 10secs of the fight. if u have good echoes you can bring him to a 1/2 or 1/4 of his hp. I personally use Encore or Changli and they get the job done really fast. Jue is has annoying mechanics but if he dies in 30-40secs its all whatever since that the same amount of time to kill any other boss.
    ToA Scar is annoying af to fight, initial i game up on trying to 30* ToA because of him but as i kept on fighting him i realized i was always really close to killing him. I recently hit UL60 so i just lv10 some skills and lv90'd my changli and lv80 my sanhua gave her some lv8 skills and then got the job done. Hence i realized the issue wasn't my skill but my lack of dmg or whether my res lib and forte crit or not.People saying Scar is too hard, just need to adapt to him whether it by getting used to his mechanics or just by upgrading the skills for your main and sub dps and increase their levels.
    If you are UL60+ and struggling against Scar you have a skill issue and if you are below, you probably don't do enough dmg or both. I don't think Scar needed to be nerfed, Wuwa is action rpg with very good combat. Hard bosses like scar are what challenges the mind and makes players think but at the end of the day ToA was always and will always be a dps/stat check. Even if you were to play perfectly if your characters aren't built properly you wont be able to beat it.
    Morning Aix has different issue since most of his hologram kit is bugged and Wuwa targeting system being absolute garbage when fighting him, I haven't fought Aix since 1.0 so idk if they were ever fixed. However any hard fight in any game is gonna be annoying to do since you are going to spend a lot of your time taking Ls.
    Fighting Aix, Mephis, Crownless and Scar is nothing like fighting Jue. Jue is like Scara from Genshin, both are huge bosses with very uninteresting mechanics that make them take forever to kill altho i will say Scara is infinitely worse since Jue can be burst down immediately unlike him. Aix Mephis, Crownless and scar are very engaging bosses as they are actively trying to kill you. They don't really run from you and have some tricky BS you need to adapt to.
    Aix with its scatter laser beams and grabs
    Mephis with its clones and him always teleporting around you
    Crownless with its fast pace attacks and aoe
    Scar with his delayed swings and ground explosion
    Imo all these bosses help players get better at the game in some way, Fighting Mephis will encourage players to get use to hitting parries and fighting Aix and Scar will help you slow the game down and let you get better at perfect dodging and utilizing dodge counters. Crownless is a beast in its own right and you need to be comfortable with the game to really beat him or just nuke him.
    In the end i dont think Wuwa has a lot of bad bosses. Bell and Jue I will def agree with as they are very uninteresting and have mechanics that make take difficult to farm that are outside of skill but I'd also like to add that giant cyborg boss as it probably the most boring boss fight in the game. Its literally just a giant punching bag but luckily it doesn't have a lot of hp. Herron and monkey are just average bosses. They can be challenging but it is very easy to adapt to them as they don't have any tricky mechanics and also have comparatively low HPs.

    Jue is the only boss that i hate to fight because this mf keeps moving around the arena non-stop he doesn't have any attack that keeps him in the spot i f*cking hate him for that and even if he is on the ground he is still floating which why some of my attacks doesn't even hit this is only boos that has bad design not lookswise but attackwise

    I don't have any issue farming Jue tho😅, didnt Jue have that grapling mechanics so that you that helps you close the gap between you and Jue whenever it flies

    Interesting…. I didn’t really find any trouble with these bosses…. Plus, I noticed that there wasn’t much lock on being used.. that lock on is pretty helpful.

    I don't see any problem on wuwa bosses other than jue. It's just my opinion tho. I really miss the time where players can adjust to the game rather than crying and telling devs to adjust the game for them.

    Most bosses are bad. And yes they called bad because they are bad. You design a combat system for combos, flashy fun can do all sorts of things. Then you design the bosses to negate all that. Attacking relentlessly, barely any openings, punishing you if you try to combo, doing insane damage that can 1-2 shot your character cause you missed a dodge. That's very bad design. Any sort of gacha thats action oriented does this. It's horrible unfun design. Bosses should be tough but fair. A challenge not a punishment. They should encourage use of your full kit not negate it to just dark souls dodging 50 times and hitting 1-2times then repeat.
