South Park Season 15 Episode 5 ~ Crack Baby Athletic Association
South Park Season 15 ~ Crack Baby Athletic Association
After seeing the "saddest commercial ever" presented by Sarah McLachlan about crack babies, Kyle goes to help volunteer at the hospital, only to find Cartman already volunteering there. Suspicious, Kyle follows Cartman and finds that he, Craig, Clyde and Butters have gathered together to form a new business which takes crack addicted babies and makes them fight each other for a piece of crack. The game is called "Crack Baby Basketball". Kyle is shocked and horrified at what Cartman has done, but Cartman convinces him it's a win-win situation for everybody and hires Kyle as their accountant, with the money and perks causing Kyle to continue to work with Cartman despite continually questioning the morality. Kyle struggles with this issue for the rest of the episode, and constantly tries to justify his actions to Stan While Craig and Clyde struggle to find the musician Slash to play halftime at an upcoming fight, the group prepares to cut a deal with EA Sports for a video game based upon their sport. Cartman, looking for ways to get away with exploiting the babies for his own profit, goes to the athletic department at the University of Colorado. Impersonating a southern slave owner, Cartman refers to the University's student athletes as slaves. Kyle presents Cartman with a plan to spend 30% of the money from the deal on a state of the art orphanage for the crack babies, which Cartman actually approves because of all the good will it will generate. Ironically, EA Sports exploits the group by claiming that they own all rights to the Crack Baby Athletic Association and refuse to give Cartman any money. Without the money from the deal, Kyle is unable to build an orphanage for crack babies. When Clyde and Craig try to find Slash's home adress, it is reveiled that he is actually a make-believe character based on a Dutch legend named Vünter Slauche. This explains why Slash appears to be everywhere at once, even playing a show in Russia and in Colorado in the same afternoon. At the end of the episode Kyle discovers that the orphanage has been miraculously built, and a guitar and hat belonging to Slash are inside. Kyle is overjoyed and everyone's faith in Slash is restored. - Komedie
"STUDENT ATHOLETES, HO HO that is BRILLIANT SAH" LMFAO XD XD
FallenX100 Man, South Park hit the satire really hard on this one yet again.
Given that the term ‘student athlete’ was used purely as a way to not pay players for their on-field play or likeness in media it’s a rather brilliant bit.
Sadly this is the only legal way we can own black people these days.

@The truth hurts doesn't it? You have no place in saying that with that name and profile pic lollll

NCAA: "There are GOOD reasons why our student athletes can't be paid, young man."
Me: Such as...?
Such as not to distract them from their studies with the evil of money
I run track in the NCAA. It's a BS organization.
Because the owners of the sla uh student atholetes need to make money... duh
@The USS Johnston Yeah ik my sport doesnt make money.
@The USS Johnston I'm just saying they make very unnecessary rules we have to follow. One of them is if a student athlete is caught sports betting (even if it's legal and your 21) you could still get your scholarship taken away.
You could argue this being the greatest 2 minutes in animation history.
Carole Baskin and her "volunteers"
Rudy Torrez I’ll give you $40 for 2 of the blue shirts and 50 for the greens.
😂😂😂 every one out here watching tiger king
I can’t believe that Tiger King was only 7 months ago. I would’ve guessed three years
Also Don and his actual sex slaves
I love the fiddle when he enters.
The cigar sniff is priceless 😂😂😂
Being from the south, we find this hilarious. "Screw you saa', I'm goin' home"
Gotta love how he gets more pissed off as the implications keep coming
I am dying listening to this
Sometimes South Park hits the nail on the head a lot harder than even they intended to.
Leonardo Di Caprio in Django unchained 😂😂😂
These guys go all out when they try to make a point about social issues. Dann. Lol. XD
Isaiah Sanchevy Damn*
Not anymore they have been put on a chain in the last two seasons or so sadly
Jay C yeah kind of. Tj kerk did a video about it. It's interesting.
Viacom has an agenda and they probably make their shows forward it, even south park
nah its the creators vision
I mean......$40 for 2 of the whites and $50 for the blacks is a deal
Once in a lifetime offer and he threw it all away.
It's amazingly accurate historically😂: African slaves were far more expensive than Irish slaves.
@@amberlynmarlowe8704 Wow, I kinda expected that I guess, just not that the difference was so huge. That means they're 2.5x as expensive, respect.
He offered forty for two of the whites (so twenty each) and fifty for ALL of the blacks. Depends how many blacks there are.
@@amberlynmarlowe8704 that’s because the Irish weren’t slaves and were in fact indentured servants. I mean the reason why we even switched slavery is cuz the Irish demanded fair wages and won. So they bought slaves realized buying slaves was expensive. Then they invented whiteness and blackness. Now the special brand of superiority Europeans felt comes from
The Greeks. This will be heavily disagreed with in the comments section, but all countries thought they were superior. However, only the Greeks sought to prove it and that spread to Europe. This allowed race to take a foot hold as an excuse to create generational slavery. Which, even at the time was considered barbaric. However they were like, what if slave like dog and too dumb to take of self? Then eveyone went “make sense they aren’t christian. Also Bible says soemthing about light skin? I know they were all from Northern Africa and the Middle East but they pale like us somehow. Anyways, the Irish slavery thing happened but from Europeans in Europe. It didn’t happen really in the America’s. It’s been debunked a bunch. You can easily Google it
Well we all know where Quentin Tarantino got the character design of Calvin Candie from
"Quote from the video because people who watched it wanna know i found that part funny"
"Snarky quote because people reading the comments want to know I think people that quote the movie are stupid."
MeesterVegas He has a point, though. It's as irritating as f*#k.
It's not how parody works. Only mimicry. One takes cleverness and originality, the other doesn't.

scottab140
"This country was founded by a group of slave owners who said that all men are created equal."
-George Carlin
Apophis the people that wrote that tried to write in the constitution that slaves was wrong but they took it out so the southern states would sign it
Apophis they needed every state to sign it George washingtin hamilton and others didnt believe in slavery
john son While most of the founders owned slaves, they believed that the institution of slavery and the slave trade were wrong and they realized that slavery would end one day. They also realized that just freeing all of the slaves without a hitch would hurt the slaves bc they had no prior education or skills, and would cause massive social strife, so they tried to ease into abolition. It’s really easy to look back into history and say that things should’ve been different without putting things into the context of that time.
“U got some mighty strong workers. I can give u 40 for the white ones and 50 for the blacks”😂
“Ohhhh that is brilliant saarr!”
Calvin Candy from Django
@Justin Time I thought the exact same lol
Both owners were goddamn hilarious and fucked up lol. Don “Big Daddy” Johnson
Justin Time way more people have watched Django Unchained.
I'll give y'all 50 for the blaacks
I miss pre-PC Principal South Park.
Yeah it reallllly went downhill but still remains the best satire ever in its earlier years

PM 3736 You know what? I shouldn’t have been so rash. I am sorry, honestly. I just hate trolls. If you were trolling then stop. If you weren’t sorry for the harsh correction. We are South Park fans and CZcams shows a place to both enjoy them. I shouldn’t fight with you.
So I am sorry if your questions/comments were true and if you were trolling I am stopping here.
Having been a Pac 12 athlete, it's pretty ridiculous. Not to mention that your every word is taken at professional athlete-value, so one stupid tweet or facebook post by an unpaid 18 or 19 year old can destroy their future.
If finishing practice only to find an interviewer waiting to grab a statement and ask some questions isn't a professional level of expectation, then I don't know what is.
Didn't know that slaves were given such opportunities as a full ride to college.
"I aioinn arguinnn" hahaha...brilliant.
This is so well done I'm sure it changed some minds on the issue. Eric p Cartman is such a legend!
Today's NCAA Court decision hahahaha
XD I thought the same.
Right!!! I bet they played this in court
We just gonna ignore him stealing that cigar?
Well it's not like there was a bowl of mints on his desk.
I love how he pats his breast pocket after he puts it in there.
Well considering he’s got all the slaves to himself, CLEARLY he can simply afford more!
STUDENT ATHOLETE HAHAHA THAT IS BRILLIANT SAH!
I find it extremely offensive that he would only pay $40 for me. I’m worth at least 42.
it's $40 for two of ya
Let's call it a compromise and I'll buy you for $35?
Here today 6-21-2021 on the Supreme Court decision on the slaves... I mean student ath-a-letes.
That violin tune at the beginning.....hilarious. Straight out of Uncle Toms Cabin.
Love how he just smells the cigar and puts it in his pocket
Brilliant. They put things in a way you can't deny the reality and if you do, you can hear what you sound like. 🤣
“ student athletes oh ho that is brrrilliant sir “
*recommended on april 6th, national student athlete day. PERFECT TIMING*
Every time I watch this something new makes me laugh that didn't make me laugh before. This time, it's the music that plays when he enters the room!
Deion Sanders coaching at Colorado really brings me back here again.
The Most accurate portrayal of 1) NCAA 2) "Student" Athletes ever done.

I think Colin Kaepernick grab his slave/NFL idea from here 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤯🤯🤯😂😂😂

South Park on the truth of life
I never noticed. Is he supposed to be dressed as leo's character from django?
People don’t realize that this scene was mocking the NCAA in a time before they let college athletes make money on their likeness

40 for the whites and 50 for the blacks lmfao
Genius. Complete fucking comedic genius.
Funny, but I never thought colleges and universities were in the slave trade. Then I watched this episode. That pretty much ended my doubts.
We not gonna talk about cartman taking that cigar xD
Did anyone think that cornel sanders was a plantation owner when they were younger
Didn't know schools were doing this. Exploitation continues...

No pay, but they legally can quit at any time
hidden penalties? do tell.
Steven Mero Several investigations over the years have uncovered a number of things, though of course the lobbies are fast to keep things as quiet ass possible.
The obvious one is kicking them off the scholarship list. Many students are recruited in high school to colleges they can't otherwise afford to attend, so that scholarship goes and they have to quit college, or even end up in debt as the switch immediatly results in charges and fees.
There are others that are, 'less legal' but still happen.
One is a threat to curve their grades down instead of up. While it's a bit more known that collegs pad grades to keep their athletes able to play, some have been caught using the threat of doing the opposite to 'encourage' them not to leave. Even for athletes that can pass without the under the table benefits, the college can curve a grade down so they still fail out. They can even threaten add such things as cheating and other offenses to their record to 'discourage' other colleges from picking them up.
Also, many colleges are very well connected. And while the 'carrot' of this is that they promise to get students their dream jobs, they can just as easily threaten to use those 'personal connections' to ensure they don't get hired.
Finally, most who do get caught with evidence against them typically setlle before the news can start the feeding frenzy, with those fun little non-disclosure clauses to ensure no one rats them out.
It's absolutly illegal, but such underhanded tactics and more have been discovered in the various investigations over the years, a little research turns up those who have been caught and it's safe to assume others are doing it, just in a way they don't get found out.
This is so true. I think it's Rick Pitino fairly recently it was found out all the shoe money that was supposed to go to school athletes group he stole. Well 90 plus percent of it anyway.
