From her interview by uya kuya, it was said that AGT choose the song and Putri arranged it as how she intepreted it.. what a talent for one so young ❤

She’s got a lovely voice and performs really well for someone who can’t see.
I didn’t quite vibe with her interpretation, for me the original was too hard an act to follow.

I think when you pick a well known song, it can be hard to convince everyone to love your interpretation. There are some songs where I love the OG so much, I’ll just never like a cover more. But she’s talented as heck!!!! I could NOT play the piano in front of that many people, I’ll tell you that right now. 😅
@@KoalityReactions there are very few that I like the cover more than the original, the biggest exception is a few covers of Creep by Radiohead; Paulina from The Warning, Annalise from IMY2 and Hayley Reinhardt + Post modern Jukebox all do covers that I like better than the original, all in different styles to each other!
We are now far from AGT and Putri is on the way to become the star she dreams to be.
To-day I listened again to this U2's song by Putri and it appears to me as a real marvel. The work she did there is quite remarkable.
About the crack of her voice, I have now the conviction that it was not an accident. It was her choice.
In her last creation Perfect Liar, there is a very short delicious moment, which is not a crack, more a quick vibrato, which let me think I'm right.
Anyway, Putri is a stunning artist. She shows it constantly, at every new experience.

Interesting the way you comment as someone knowing what it means to be on stage.
But we always have to be carefull and not think or feel instead of someone else.
I read from indonesian people, that Putri said in a tv show that NO she was not nervous, even excited by the audience's reactions.
Even the tiny crack in her voice so much commented has been explained, especially by a vocal analyst called @xtra vaganza probably indonesian, who says that this is a specific technical way of singing "sundanese nyinden", the technic of the broken glass. He assures that it was not a fault or failure from Putri.
Totally fair! I've since seen other reactions, from professional vocalists, who also said they weren't sure if it was on purpose or not... but that it conveyed great emotion regardless. Which is what I also said! :)
