Knowing how matchmaking works, they'll probably go and try to attack our friendly surtr
On PTS, do not assume a D/C is a rage quit, I’ve been just kicked off the server with little warning and not allowed back in for a bit
I got logged out mid match and couldn't log in for the rest of the day
Depending on how good his abilities scale im interested in trying to jungle with him. Bumba’s and transcendence look like they could be really good and since he has a stun and speed buff he could be good for the role. His ult would also be really good for dives or escapes. All around he looks really fun to play and I can’t wait to play him.
I don't think bruirsers will be good junglers anymore with them removing power from all the bruirser items. Plus, assassins now have free flat pen
You guys both activating your 1 and auto attacking was cool at 15:30
Did you guys know that since there’s a new monster replacing the fire giant, the new monster has a new way of coming onto the map. When the fire giant is about to spawn if your in the solo lane and look towards the volcano he will emerge from the volcano walk towards the map and go down underneath the map. When it’s time to spawn he will emerge from underneath
His auto attack sounds give me Berserk 2016 flashbacks..

Finally a CZcamsr who actually stacks his 1. Everyone else doesn’t know what they are doing. Subbed just for that
He uses the 1 too early very often he should really be a bit more patient with it early on because he could easily get twice as many stacks if he just waited a few seconds longer, because the 1 is supposed to be used to kill the minion, not to kill it faster. If you don't get a stack early on and you use it on a minion it is a waste.
He literally doesn't do it, though. I've watched over a minute of him farming 15 minutes in, and he's yet to use it correctly.
Gotta ult at of there at 16:30! I feel like his ult will be very useful as an escape/stall

The problem is you get that than ult syndrome where mid game, the enemy hits a power spike that catches you off guard, and you're dead before you leave the ground.
Also, he was out of mana that entire timestamp.
Was a little disappointed the 1 doesn't multi hit on the cleave for stacking but he's really fun.
can you use the cleave?I thought as a n hability you basic chain is reset
@@franciscofernandezmedrano9613 it doesn't reset. It just a stim for the next auto but on the cleave hit the 1 only procs on 1 target
He's so much fun. What I like building in Deaths Embrace, Berserkers Shield, Dawnbringer, Crusher, Archdruids Fury/Stone of Binding (depends on game), and Genjis Guard. Its definitely a fun build. I've also been doing a Bluestone varient with Glad shield instead of Berserkers Shield, Shoguns Kusari instead of Genjis Guard, and Frostbound instead of Dawnbringer.
I see a potential for Hydra for a q build, it resolves the mana issue and the Big hit on q make it easier to stack and Big dmg

@@teejay1646 Its the binding for most if not all non 3rd person MOBA like league hots dota etc... Its QWER instead of 1234 by default for smite.

@@hiperego I use default binding for smite, it's just the 1st ability in every other moba is called the q spell, and in these moba by default you use the right click to move since the camera is up there like an RTS

I really feel like Surtr is more of an Auto-based warrior like Gilga and Ama, and he might be more effective if you build like those Gods.
1 is literally an auto stim
2 and 3 are used to stick to your target while you wham them with autos.
Idk if damage counts as a stim and I'd compare him more to Osiris where he's kinda a mix of both abilities and autos
Based on my experience with him, i agree. The 1 isnt really much of a stim, but either way i think his damage is a lot more consistent if you build aa.
also stackin the 1 is simpler with more basic atack dmg and his pasive is useful with a bit of sustain ,although since surtr base dmg kit is pretty high, he will do as an hability god
Can your 1 apply on multiple units if you hit it with the cleave?
Side note: I'm absolutely going to play this guy like Nasus from League. Just hang out and farm stacks until 75% into the game when I become a raid boss
No, the 1 resets the hit chain
No. Even if you use the cleaves it'll only apply to one target.

40:38 You could potentially stack faster if you use the 1 with the cleave auto instead of the first hit of the attack chain. Cause the 1 only triggers on hit, so if you intentionally miss your first auto you could then potentially trigger the 1 on everything in range to get more stacks per cast.
Activating the 1 resets the auto chain unfortunately
Abilities always reset autochain unless they say otherwise
@@blugrass16 You activate the 1, you auto and miss the first hit in the chain, then hit the 2nd chain for AoE.
@@blugrass16 it only procs on the first successful auto, so you can just not hit anything with your first auto after activating the 1
Think Cabraken’s 1 but you keep your normal auto-chain
33:01 you do burst damage if you press 3 again. Closing the ring does burst damage so you could have secured it

i think if PROPHETIC CLOAK is op it might be good to pot the cd with geing the Damage Mitigation, 10% cd at 400 prots and the other 10% at 600 prots so it isn't as good to just build for the stats. i havent played the pts or seen if its op or not but i like the idea of it and kinda dont want it to lose the cd.
When the fire giant got tired of being killed and walked out of his pit to return the favor
Breastplate of regrowth procs whenever he picks up his little passive obsidian flesh things and the movement speed and extra power you get is useful for either escaping or chasing down low hp targets only problem is the base stats of the item and overall value compared to other items but its still fun and has a lot of meme build potential

Inter, I don’t think it would be good to reduce cool-down on ultimate, I know it’s your like opinion, but the slow of the meteor is good cause then you can move around before hitting so you can decide before tower diving and then being like oh sh-

My suggestion is to have the option to speed up though. If you wanted it slow you can keep it slow.

It really seems like his 1 is the star ability you don't level it for the damage you level it for the reduced cooldown and you really focus on stacking it. At a certain point it is a damage ability but at such low stacks it is better to save it for stacks. Characters with a similar ability in other MOBAS tend to focus the stacking abilities far more, the damage only really increases if you really focus on the stacks.

they should change the execute minion chest piece to only proc if an ally is near if they wanted it to be a support focused item

ive seen a lot of people acting like the one cant hit on the cleave if you miss one auto couldnt you cleave the whole wave with the 1 and get more stacks that way and clear better

Who tries to surrender in a PTS match, then rage quits???? Geeze these new players are literally the worst thing to happen to smite.
As I always say in match: then coach them the best you can instead of kek-ing at them or vgs spamming. Making fun of the new players isn't going to make them magically better mid conquest
Honestly true but also conq games go for like 40mins decently often
If you're playing PTS to learn new stuff or test it and it feels like the only thing you've learned in half an hour is that the enemy team are better than you: I can understand the frustration
Lol have some brains. If someone wants to surrender you surrender. Of course if the enemy team cuts off their hands you could get a win but who wants to struggle for 45 minutes when you could leave at 10 and get into a better situation.

It's something you can download from steam that basically lets you play the new update before it's released
But be warned: this is mostly for balance adjustment/bug finding purposes. The game will likely not be stable and servers are often really bad

Off of the gameplay his 1 and 4 look a little weak. His 2 and 3 look fine tho. 3 is his greatest util rn. A field of damage and constant move speed effects. Maybe I just need to play him, but the 1 needs better stacking and his 4 needs to have a built in cancel for the sake of QoF and fluidity in his kit

Too many items have cdr now. With new warrior passive its too easy to overcap. Class passives are the dumbest thing they have ever added
