Cool -- I have a couple of unloved DCC/Sound ON30 0-4-2 Porters and some Boulder Valley 4-wheel rolling stock so couldn't resist ordering the micro layout as well! Happy New Year to us Steve! LOL

Great video and tutorial on your up and coming projects for 24' I think the Z Scale switching layout will be quite interesting to see. Based on your plans for an On30 mini-layout, I have purchased a "World's Smallest Layout" from Ironworks. However I am thinking of doing it with N gauge track so I can use it for N, HOn30 and On18 scales by switching buildings. Thanks for the impetus.
Yeah, you could do a lot more in N scale for sure. That was my first idea, but I thought doing On30 would be a fun change for this project.

Happy New Year Steve. Love watching your videos. That N scale layout you are planning is the same size I'm building my N scale layout. But mine is going to have grades and a hidden staging under the main layout. It will also have a branch line to a coal mine and a oil refinery. Like the Z and T scale layouts too.
What do you do with your old layouts since you are probably running out of space to store them
Most are actually built as commission projects, and the rest are usually sold eventually or scrapped for parts. Since I keep building layouts for YT I of course can’t keep them all since I don’t have much space to begin with.
