I just love the fact that Santana was always pissed to be behind Rachel but with Quinn she would do it more than gladly. Santana really loves Quinn. God their friendship is just that powerful.
Not to revive a dead thread, but I think a lot of it is due to vocal styling as well. A lot of Quinn's songs with the Unholy Trinity are sultry oldies, and the era has a lot of backup vocals, so while there's a lead vocal, that's only one half of the showcase because you have that beautifully built vocal line weaving in-between the main vocal's verses. It holds down the chorus, it's the part everyone can quickly learn and sing along to, and for anyone with an ear for talent you can pick apart the harmony and catch how gifted those singers are, because some of those backup vocals are the most challenging parts of the song. A lot of Rachel's songs with Santana are given added parts to harmonize with the vocal or throw in ad-libs for flavor, but it ultimately compliments the main first and foremost, and doesn't sound complete by itself. This era had songs like "Brave" or "Love Song" for example, which are beautifully performed by the cast members, but they are made to be more intricate than they originally are, and with the bulk of the Unholy Trinity's songs you can make everyone happy without changing much. Santana takes the high harmony, Quinn takes the main vocal, and Brittany takes the low harmony. Easier.
i really wish the show could have gone further with santana and marley's relationship... santana was a really good role model for her and she put kitty in her place for bullying marley .

One of the reasons I dropped the show, they never addressed that it was bad that she had bulimia and she never really got over it and Kitty was never put down for it. Instead they kept making her out to be a great person and a character everyone liked.

I like how the choreography is heavily based on their first try out performance for the Glee club. This makes it even more believable that they would have made it on the go.
