I'm always nervous about seeing myself in an episode of "A Game of Throws", thank god it has not happened yet.
In all seriousness I don’t play WoWS because I’m afraid that one day I’ll be on the wrong side of a Jingles video. I’d never be able to live down him pointing out my sudden and fatal rush of s### to the brain.

Impressive series of throws there, thought the Edinburgh had clinched the competition to thow but Mahan got it at the last minute!
That was an ending worthy of a viking saga, and a season finale of AGOT-WOWS.

That Pommern was dying, mostly because SinkyMcSinkerson and the Iwami were keeping their distance and letting the Pommern take all the punishment, including the torp spread from the Tirpitz. (Staying back in open waters pretty much *relies* on you throwing at least one teammate under the bus, or you'll be focussed down mercilessly.) The Pommern was not going to survive long enough for two more salvos, so he was trying to include his back turrets in his last salvo, perhaps taking out the Missouri.

Don't usually watch your videos but a clan mate told me I was in it. I was the Brindisi, at the time I was only fighting the Iwami and was kiting him confident that my teammates had the others under control. Of course , I realized too late that my team had evaporated and I was the only one left being pushed by three ships. Admittedly not one of my finer moments.

The Missouri had probably reversed out of his secondary battery range, and the Pommern was presumably trying to get in closer.
That Pommern was a typical German BB player - Secondaries or nothing!
I see a lot of this lunacy from players driving secondary spec BBs, especially in ranked.

One thing I like about the Kansas is it does turn on a dime.
Ngl, the ammo selection by Sinky drove me absolutely nuts. Shooting HE at BBs that weren't even bowtanking, *not* loading HE when the only red left alive was a DD, it was really just all over the place
Goes well with the theme. Everyone trying to throw the game and only the best at that can snatch the defeat from the jaws of victory. That Mahan had the last laugh no matter what everyone else tried.
40 second reload, if you try to switch ammo types based on the situation you're ALWAYS going to have the wrong ammo loaded (if you're not still loading because you changed your mind) ... doesn't forgive the DD, though.
That was me in chat lol. I realize I should have just stayed on my side but I was worried about the other side fully collapsing and getting flanked.

Jingles you should check out a game called War on the Sea! It's a WWII based naval game that adds air elements and you play as either Japan or USA. Very strategic!
he did a video on it back when it first released. Might be nice to see him try it again though.

I was really of the believe that the final throw was the bad choices made by the Edinburgh. This was a good finale Jingles
Gneisenau guns are no longer inaccurate. WG gave it cruiser dispersion which had the effect of suddenly making it a good ship. I think Mountbatten covered it in one of his vids.

Alabama was in amongst the islands so destroyer likely popped up around the corner of an island just outside of proximity detection and torped at basically undodgable range

It's incredible the enemy team managed to get as big of a lead as they had. That TDF division was mind numbingly stupid at the start of the match by basically throwing their ships away. Or at least 2 of the 3 were incredibly dumb.

On a side note, I've extensively played Gneisenau in T7 ranked and... it's far from shit. The guns used to be painfully inaccurate when Jingles played the ship and dinosaurs still roamed the land, but... it has been buffed

I am once again disappointed by not seeing one of those patentedly high-quality Jingles-made results screens.
That is the FIRST TIME EVER I have seen it that using torps instead of guns against a dd during a last minute clutch shot was the right choice.
Left for a few hours came back and was greeted with a new video from Jingles. Keep up the content it makes my day.

The single most devastating salvo I've fired, in terms of raw damage without a magazine detonation, was with Kansas on a carrier (I think it was the Nakhimov?) for a bit over 67,000 hit points at maximum gun range. Naturally, this being a carrier it still wasn't enough to sink it.

back when I played WoWs (loooong ago now), I remember being very worried in the German line before unlocking the Gneisenau. I thought the journey to the Bismarck would be an appalling chore because Gneisenau looked so bad. The Gneisenau was one of the BEST SHIPS I played in the game.
It wasnt good because it was "good" but because it was such fun to play (for me). I always loved getting close to enemies in BBs and not really liked the sniper play. In the Gneisenau, you basically had no real choice than to get close and it was really really good once you got close.
On the other hand, I thought the North Caroline (very much "hyped" back then as being "Top BB") would be a "walk in the Park"....I hated EVERY game with that piece of floating JUNK! As it turns out, for the North Caroline to be any good, it needs the Hull Upgrade otherwise its DOGSHIT!!!!! I hated that crap so much I didnt even unlock the Iowa before finally deciding to uninstall the game.
the kansas is such a beast, gave me the most devstrikes/game aside from satsuma, also has godtier aa. And I played her before the buff no clue what that ship is like now

Um, the kansas is a amazing ship and the vermont is basically just supreme. If you base things on reload/speed then your missing out. Protip: brisk talent - second protip - adreline rush - third pro tip, dont sit at max range where your dispersion is way bad, and finally fourth protip - concelemnt equipment, so good.
