I love how during Viscous Circles Caleb yells "I forgot the fucking words again!" Lol. He made it work.
RIP Caleb :(
Rest in Power Caleb! 💔
I love all of Cave In. Everything from Beyond Hypothermia to Jupiter to Antenna to Perfect Pitch Black and White Silence. All of it is gold. Whatever I'm in the mood for, there's a Cave In album for it. Oddly enough, my favorite from them is their EP Tides of Tomorrow that came between Jupiter and Antenna.
Couldn't agree more. I cant believe how much great music theyve produced (side projects included) theyve been apart of my musical life since 2000 and theyre still making great stuff albeit away from Cave In at this moment in time. Mutoid Man!
Spot on. Although I don't know if I could ever have a favorite Cave In album just because I love it all. My favorite band of all time, hands down.
LET YOUR MIND ABSORB THIS SAVAGE LOOP
Stephens voice has got so much range. He can do the metal gravel throat stuff, harmonies, rock, acoustic.....all around amazingly talented dude
I have a serious man-crush on Caleb. Fantastic bassist and a great guttural scream to boot.
Watching this now is both amazing and heartbreaking.
This reminds me of when I saw them in Baltimore New Years Day 1999 with Dillinger and Converge. Just so intense and awesome. The new album is up to par with all of their other material. They have my eternal respect!
FUCKING HELLLLLLL. Its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD to see Brodsy screaming his lungs for the old stuff again. Fucking Cave In, long live.
Man what is it with the audience, they just dont quite seem the appreciate the incredible talent that is performing before their very eyes... If I had never heard Cave In before and walked in on this set, I would have been completely blown away. Particularly for their Sing My Loves portion!
I was there. It was right after White Silence had come out. Damnation AD had literally just canceled but they were supposed to headline that night. It was also the last band on a full day of this three day fest. Don't get me wrong, several of us were still moving, but it was a little odd in there.
caleb scofield best vocal ever
3rd time I'm watching this show, and probably won't be the last. RIP Caleb.
"On a concrete road to recovery, and I'm knocking over every cone in front of me" perfectly describes the contemporary human condition and life in the 21st century.
I'm stoked Brodsky is delivering his scream parts again, it looks like he's found a way to protect his singing voice after screaming heavily, must have been doing it wrong in the early days
Probably why they sound so gnarly on Until your heart stops
halo of flies and Brodsky screaming again! There is a god... pissed I missed this
Thanks for posting this Cavis
Their intensity is running deep, that what makes their shows so savagely awesome! RIP Caleb, Long Live Stephen Brodsky, what a legend! what a voice!
RIP Caleb Scofield AND RIP CAVISTAPES, doing what he loves, filming bands...
Been a fan of every Cave In release they're put out. Quality musicians and great song writers.
"Let your mind, absorb, MY SAVAGE LOOP!" I love, so much. Thank you.
I saw them on the MA stop of the Saints and Sinners Tour with BTBAM, Animals as Leaders, The Red Chord, and Tesseract. That still might be the greatest show I've ever been too.
Brodsky doing screams always = A+
I wish I could screamed like Brodsky. Dude's a monster.
one of the smartest bands
Awesome to see Brodsky singing the UYHS-era stuff again.
Big Riff still to this day is one big motha fuckin riff
Brodsky is screaming again. This made my day.
gotta love, and/or respect, CIs allegiance to bear no allegiance to any one genre, or sub-genre for that matter...
THANK YOU for posting this.
This is brilliant - thanks so much for putting it up.
Thank you a lot for this video!
I swear to god, that's gotta be the biggest riff I've ever heard!
awesome, thank you for this!
I'm in awe
i'm eternally grateful for this, man. thanks so much!
Thank you so much.
yes yes yes yes!!!!awesome setlist and a hell of a great ending! thnx for uploading
Yes! YESSS!! Stephen Brodsky's guttural scream once more! Man I thought he vowed never to scream again... He lost his voice for 2 weeks after recording Until Your Heart Stops.
this must have been an amazing show - thanks for uploading!
Damn, thank you so very much for providing a live video with *gasp* GOOD SOUND QUALITY!
Favorited. :)
I find myself watching this regularly, these guys have always been on point live.
@CAvis3208 Omg,sorry,I didn't see it...I was half-asleep when I was watching the vid.Thank you for posting this,it is absolutely amazing.
caleb sings ''i forgot the fucking words again..." @9.54 heh! GOD BLESS CAVE IN!
Totally awesome!
CAvis3208 you are now my favourite CZcams member for this video alone. amazing!
Nasty! One of the most underrated bands ever!
Right on man, a true Cave In fan right there...
you're the fucking man for putting this up - great quality and epic set
What a Badass Show!
Best set of the weekend.
Great Everything!
Amazing, they’re all great here but Caleb’s particularly awesome :-(
Dude... the hardcore scene didn't abandon them; YOU abandoned them.
Big Riff gives me shivers...
Caleb says "I forgot the fucking words again" in vicious circles and it fit perfectly. Lol
We will all sing together!
they make mastodon sound puny...
fuck yes
brutal. 10
Such a sick band I hope they come to Houston someday
very similar to their set in DC on the 22nd. These guys know how to bring the rock.
@ghostface3061288 its Luminance from the Creative Eclipses album - a great, and very different, Cave In appeared with this EP- check it out.
MY SAVAGE LOOP!! hahaha
RIP CAvisRIP Caleb
Awesome! What was this shot on? Thank you.
"I forgot the fucking words againnnn!!!"
i wonder how many of those shirts adam has. I've seen him sport the same shirt the past 4 times i've seen them
30:24 greatest bridge ive ever heard
"Serious professional moment happening. This is what happens when you play fuckin once every three years."
so.effing.jealous
RIP Caleb and RIP Chris
Getting smaller everyday :/
Gavin Henry, oh man... reading about him now. This was always my favorite video of Cave In. He obviously made a huge impact...
@murtazax think you've missed the point.
No anchor :(
@davethehostage Not so with Pitchfork. I just read a review (on Pitchfork) that gave Jupiter a 4.9 (out of 10). I was stunned. I haven't even heard the full album yet, but the songs I have heard here on youtube are works of art. There is so much that is just perfect about those songs I'm hearing.
Looks like Sunn 1200's out there. Use to own 2 - 1970 or 71 heads with 1 tall cabinet myself. Serious large toned amp. Sold the bitch after a month, takes a man to lift it.
dirty look at 20:26 for mess up
Argh! Cant beleive they ddn't play Juggernaut!!!
I wasn't upset whatsoever when Cave In signed to a major label years back, but the fact that they came whimpering back after that commercial failure to the hardcore scene that abandoned them is way worse. They were cocky and arrogant when they released Jupiter/Tides of Tomorrow/Antenna and now they have their tail between their legs with a slew of new bad albums to boot. I've been a fan since Beyond Hypothermia, but what a damned shame.
no fucking juggernaut D=
This setlist is terrible: wtf
Caleb screaming "I forgot the fucking words again" happens at 9:55 or so. RIP Caleb. Amazing voice, absolute beast on bass too. Will be sorely missed.
betterinsodapop The only other artist I can think of that comes remotely close to Caleb’s intensity? Henry Rollins.
@@233Runner Definitely can see that.
