I remember going to hospital and waking up with my foot wrapped up and missing my left big toe nail. If it wasn’t for bullies in Primary, the surgery would have been a success and no more ingrown toenails.
But kids are a-holes who like causing pain, especially when they see your foot wrapped in bandages and a plastic bag to keep the water off the bandages.

@@hellokittied I've just done a ingrown toenail surgery last year. If you don't do the surgery, the part that the nail ingrown inside will be very painful and I cannot walk. After doing it, my toe feel better so it's quite necessary to do it lmaoooo. (sorry for my broken English as I am a foreigner:)

The trick is not to let your feet get this bad.... I personally like to use a foot spa to soften my nails before cutting as it makes the nails easier to cut and less like shrapnel... I can honestly say ive never heard that much noise doing it 😆

Attention to anyone who ACTUALLY has ingrown toenails: DO NOT DO THIS!!! If you actually just grow your nails out and cut straight across (do NOT cut into the sides!!) they will actually often stop being ingrown! If you’re having serious trouble, go to the DOCTOR and they can laser burn your nail at the base where it grows to stop it from growing in the edges. 🙃

@@leowang3880 So in October last year I had an ingrown toenail. I went to the doctor and they only cut half of my toenail. The syringe was the only thing that hurt. But I now got an ingrown toenail again. :(

Nononono bud imma stop you right there, I'd give this video an A for effort but considering they aren't a pediatrician they wouldn't know what they are doing and as someone why recently got an ingrown toenail removed let me tell you what should have probably happened. Firstly you need to stop the blood circulating to the toe, when you search up images of ingrown toenails you'll see this ring around the toe and that stops blood flow to make it easier to operate. Secondly, local anesthetics, an ingrown toenail is painful, bumping it on something feels like stubbing your toe but 10x worse, if they were to just cut the nail out you'd be crying from pain disinfectant is another thing they might have missed, Idk if they showed them disinfecting the toe but you really have to, if the ingrown toenail is infected, you should probably disinfect it before operating and finally, the most important part of removing an ingrown toenail, acid. When the nail is removed you have to kill all the living cells so the nail won't grow back, otherwise it's just a waste of time so, burn them cells dead. Anyways thankyou for coming to my tedtalk
