      I'm currently waiting on my moxie liner to get here. I currently have glamnetic and my glamnetic lashes aren't very good. The first pair I wore once and trying to get them off the magnet to wear a second time it ripped in half and I was being so gentle. The second pair I was even more careful, wore them once and the middle magnet came off and stayed stuck to the magnet on the case. Ugh. So I'm hoping Moxie is higher quality 💜🖤 I didn't have an issue with the liner, just the lashes. I'm gonna look into lashes on Amazon so I don't have to pay so much for lashes I wear once and then it falls apart

      My gf wears glamnetic liner with non magnetic lashes and it works well because it's sticky like you're saying. My natural lashes are so curly that I have issues getting the lashes on. Robert Welsh just taught me to use a lash curler upside down to get some of that curl out lol

    Well being an esthetician I bought my eyelashes online so I have about 20 of them I bought for about a dollar fifty a piece and I love the style. However when magnetic lashes became quite the rage I thought on nuts I'm going to have to throw away all these perfectly good brand new eyelashes because my eyes have developed a sensitivity to the glue. Well I thought perhaps if I put magnetic eyeliner on the Lash band of the regular lashes would that work as well? Will guess what. I applied magnetic liner to my eyelashes then I put magnetic eyeliner on the Lash band of the fake lashes and they work perfect! You don't need magnets to make these lashes stick to the eyeliner the eyeliner sticks to the eyeliner!!

    I bought a set of moxie lashes a year ago and the liner is no longer magnetic. I contacted the company and was told that the magnetic wears out after 5 month of being opened. They were unable to replace it but did give me a discount code for 50% off my next liner purchase. Just wanted to mention it since it was mentioned that the liner doesn't go bad in this video.

    Was looking for a specific comparison for these two brands but this seemed very biased.
    I know you’re an affiliate and maybe that’s why, but you kept using negative words while describing glamnetic vs moxielash where you used more positive words and comparisons.
    For a genuine review, that would make sense, but it seemed as though you came into the comparison biased. I feel like I didn’t hear anything positive about the glamnetic liner until over halfway through the video.

    • @marshiathomas8804
      @marshiathomas8804 Před 3 lety +1

      She is stating her opinion, that is what she is SUPPOSSED to do!!! Are you an affiliate of glamnetic, it sounds like you are!!!!

    • @KatieMarie
      @KatieMarie  Před 3 lety +5

      I shared my thoughts and experience on both the liners, so I began recording the video already deciding for myself that I preferred the MoxieLash, so I suppose in that aspect I was biased while recording. I still tried to be fair in comparing them factually, but am sorry I didn’t realize my choice of words when speaking about the two products.
      I am an affiliate with MoxieLash and plan to be an affiliate with Glamnetic whenever they open up their program again (when I reached out shortly before this video went live, they said they’re doing a revamp of their program). But being an affiliate doesn’t decide which product I prefer/like more. I realized when trying the product and recording the video that people would assume I was only recommending the MoxieLash because I was an affiliate, but I can’t help what I like and I didn’t want to choose Glamnetic when I truly prefer using MoxieLash for the 3 main reasons I stated - easier to remove, its matte black, and it’s prettier. I still tried to share pros and cons for each of the products, tho, so that everyone could decide for themselves which would be best for them. I’m sorry if I failed in this part of the review and will try better in future reviews/comparison videos

    Honestly, not sure how you can review both products without bias if you are sponsored by MoxieLash. You bashed them from the first moment you mentioned them. I'd suggest if you are sponsored by someone, don't do product comparisons. There's no credibility to it.

    • @KatieMarie
      @KatieMarie  Před 3 lety +6

      @JegErBrittnee Před 3 lety +9

      I agree 100%. And she may not be “sponsored” but flat out said she was affiliated with moxie and they sent her it for free. I love glamnetic, haven’t tried moxie yet, but I have no issues with glamnetic. It makes the lashes stick all day and it doesn’t rub off easily.

    I've been really shocked at how much of a difference the liner itself makes in magnetic lashes. I seriously expected it would kind of all be the same as far as the liner goes and the lashes would the thing that changed between brands, but I have three different brands and it's insane how varied they are!

    The only thing I was looking for was Does it dry sticky? and Does it dry glossy?
    Every cheap magnetic liner I have purchased dries sticky and glossy and the lashes end up pulling all the liner off with it and stay stuck to the magnets.
    I was on the fence because I constantly see ads for both. Definitely gonna go with Moxie.

    • @KatieMarie

    Thank you so much for that review! Very very helpful.
    I just got started on lashes and glue just wouldn't work for more than a few hrs.... these I can wear for 10 hrs plus.
    I agree the removal can make eyes sensitive where the magnets hold soooo well to the liner. After a few hrs they seem to be very happy as one. I find if I wear a different style with different numbers of magnets it doesn't hit the same spot and hurt the next day.
    I am not well versed on liquid liner and find a small liner brush works SOOOO much better for me, I can control it (the mini liner I have is hard to control with a much shorter handle) and not get it all over my eyelashes. Hope that helps someone!
    Thanks again. And I LOVE your eyeshadow in this video! What colors/brand are you using if you can share?💕

    • @KatieMarie
      @KatieMarie  Před 4 lety +1

      Taking the lashes off is identical - sometimes both can be really tough to remove without pulling to the liner, so in that case I use a little cleansing oil to loosen them. But sometimes I pull them off without it and it’s super easy and doesn’t pull the liner up at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • @LynleyCat
    @LynleyCat Před 3 lety +2

    Girl if you are an affiliate & biased you shouldn't do comparison videos.
    I appreciate you disclosed you were an affiliate (paid) though.
    First mega biased point were GLAMNETIC WINS but you choose Moxie cause your paid!!
    You compare containers & are trying to justify the exact amount of liner which you posted on screen never said. You say Moxie is worth paying 50% more for a freaking gold handle WTH kinda advice is this? You kept saying how much nicer it felt & you legit called the Glamnetic container flimsy & cheap & nasty words really girl NO ITS NOT. I could run that over with my car and it would likely survive unlike that skinny gold handle, I might do it to prove a point lmao. So Moxie wins as its a shiny object lol
    ...continues with all positives from GLAMNETIC yet Moxie wins???
    PACKAGE: preference
    BRUSH: Glam is finer point wins.
    PRICE: Glam is hella cheaper for same thing
    COLOR: Glam wins as Moxie isn't soldi black, that's BAD! otherwise its preference Moxie matte vs shiny Glam
    PERFORMANCE: Glam performs better as more waterproof, yes removing factors but for me its worth waterproof just use oil easy peasy, always sacrifice of waterproof
    MAGNETS: girl smaller magnets are likely not better, Glam has 6 larger than Moxie 5. Also Moxie trying to convert to 10 confirms imo. I think its worth thick band for hold & durability- also very funny how you explained gluing the magnets back on Moxies like ok that's not a plus on durability over time you could do the same for Glam.
    LASHES: Glam has lashes for small eyes & more styles hands down. Yet your saying get Moxie cause the base is thinner which is a plus on another issue not selection. Glam wins hands down for sizes, esthetic preference & choices, I can only find one pair of Moxie I like. So thin band looses to I want a pairs that I actually like.
    BAND SIZE: Moxie wins on smaller despite less magnets yet I question durability Longer life thicker band Glam vs thinner band shorter life is my guess so a preference. Tie?
    So overall BUY GLAMNETIC brush liner way cheaper & waterproof & better packaging.
    If you prefer Moxie lashes go for it though I recommend waiting for the 10 magnets to arrive & enjoy thin bands while they last lol! Glams website, sales & CS is awesome.
    BTW I love Glam BUT NEW formula for the felt tip isn't there yet. I would wait its runny & not as magnetic but they are sending me another regular brush tube so Im all good it may work for you..

      I’m glad you had such a good experience with Glamnetic. As I said in my video, the product works, but when it comes to my preferences, I tend to reach for Moxie over Glamnetic. And since I was doing a comparison video on MY channel, I wanted to give MY opinion and thoughts in the video as well.
      And I am only an affiliate with MoxieLsh. I would be an affiliate with Glamnetic as well, but they’re revamping their affiliate program and don’t have it open right now. I have many brands I have affiliate links with - I try makeup and talk about what I like on my channel, and if there is a link/coupon, that’s a nice perk, but it doesn’t dictate what I like or what I upload on my channel.

  • @maryannr5178

    The moxie liner is 7 more... so the gold handle is worth 7 dollars?!? Hmmm not for me.
    I ordered Glamnetic for myself and my 20 year old daughter. They came in the mail within 5 days, they had a great sale, and I am VERY happy with them so far. I’m sure Moxie is a great product as well but I do not believe you gave Glamnetic the credit they are due. The packaging was beautiful for Glamnetic in my opinion, the box my lashes came in was a box exactly the same as your Moxie Lashes came in. My daughters were in the same box as you showed on this video for Glamnetic tho... so yes, the Moxie box and the Glamnetic box that mine came in are better quality however, I’m not wearing the box. Good review it just seemed from the start you were a Moxie sponsor.

    • @KatieMarie
      @KatieMarie  Před 3 lety +3

      I wasn’t sponsored by MoxieLash and tried to give all the pros and cons for each of the products in this video so it could help others decide which would be best for them.
      But since it is my video I want to be honest about which product I preferred and while Glamnetic is a good product, I still preferred to use MoxieLash on the day to day for several reasons. 🤷🏻‍♀️ i didn’t like fighting to get off the liner at the end of the day, or the shiny finish it had, and the packaging looks cheap IMO - those were a few reasons why I just wasn’t the biggest fan of Glamnetic. Not that I hate it, I’ll still use it.
      Glad to hear it’s working so well for you tho! 💚

      The longer I wear moxie, it can hurt to just pull them, so I typically just rub a little cleansing oil along my lashes to loosen it up.

    Yes!!! All the sponsored ads I would get on Instagram for glamnetic didn't come from their page. It was from weird pages that gave off a sort of Wish/Ali Express vibe but when I would check out the account, it was full of memes? Or like 1 or 2 posts about random stuff (not products). Idk it was all very weird to me too

    It appears from the beginning due to your experience with Moxie lash you preferred Moxie lash. It did not really seem like a balanced review. I have both and tried the liner and lashes. I prefer Glamnetic. You should just be a spokesperson for Moxie Lash. Again this is your opinion and you are entitled to it. However based on your comment you gave Moxie a negative review at first ,it seems like you may need more experience with the Glamnetic lashes and liner to be able to provide a more balanced review

    • @KatieMarie
      @KatieMarie  Před 4 lety +2

      I’ll for sure be using Glamnetic more in the future and always update my audience if my thoughts change. But in the video I said they were pretty much identical, both worked really well. I didn’t think I gave it a negative review. I only said I preferred the MoxieLash because Glamnetic is really difficult to remove and is very cheaply packaged - neither things I think will change the more I use it. But other than that, I didn’t say it was a bad product, I said it works really wel, and even better than MoxieLash when it came to my watery eyes 🤷🏻‍♀️

      Katie Marie thanks for replying. I appreciate it. Glamnetic had come out with felt tip magnetic liner for the people who have trouble with traditional liquid liner brush types. Moxie liner simply does not stick . They’re lashes are ok but for wide eyes. Anyway an update may need to be in order for the Glamnetic liner. New line launched today 8.27.2020. Anyway thanks for reading.

    • @LynleyCat
      @LynleyCat Před 3 lety

      Exactly Glamnetic has way more options with lashes, Moxie simply doesn't cater to small eyes with full lashes for me, & a shiny handle isn't making me feel rich to pay so much for essentially same. Glamnetic is quality, she just made me remove the Moxie liner from my cart cause I prefer shine, true black, waterproof and $$$.
      Im gonna try the moxie color pods though cause glamnetic doesn't yet Have you tried the color pods that are thick???

    I just got Glametic lashes and when I unbox, the packaging looks really cheap, they’re just in plastics bags and the box of the eyeliner feels a bit off... I’m not sure if I’m getting the real glamnetic or is it just their packaging is that bad...

      Little bags? I don't think that's actually glamnetic. The lashes come in pink and black boxes with magnetic strips that keep the lashes in place. Exactly what's displayed on their website. I own 3 pairs of lashes and they've all come like this.

    I think Glamnetic are the best quality. Period. I’ve had both and my moxielashes do not last as long. I’ve had magnets come off and they also are too natural. The whole point of wearing lashes is to give make a difference. Also to compare these when you only bought one pair from glamnetic. That’s like saying abh eyeshadow sucks when you’ve only tried one palette and comparing it to huda and you have 8 of her palettes. Just saying’

    I heard we may get a magnetic liner for lashes in a future Boxycharm. I forgot the company, maybe it’s this one, but nothing is confirmed. Like I mentioned before I have full lashes on my own, but I tried false lashes before just to see how it’d look. I got glue in my eye and then the lashes were so big that they pushed against my glasses making it hard to see. I think I may cut them in half and just use them as an accent lash on the side of my eyes. 😂 👁 I’m not buying glamnetic but I may try it if it comes in Boxycharm some day. I think that marketing tactic of glamnetic is shady. 🤔

But idk how that factors into which product works better...)first, and much longer, verses Moxie lash. I wish I was able to see a more unbiased explanation of both products.
