I did 'Nnnnnotice' quite a few Furry 'Friend?' tracks! A bit unnerving!! Thanks for the push to get out! I've been a bit 'Hesitant' about Trikeing in this 'Cold' +40 F Georgia weather. ;-) ;-)
Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening? It's amazingly quiet and serene, isn't it? I love being the first out there after a fresh snowfall, but haven't tried it on a trike yet. Soon! Happy riding!!!
Wow. What a ride. Cold riding is fun but...-2 is big time cold. I do it in the 20’s here in New England. Heading to Florida Tuesday for the winter. I have a need for sunshine and warmth. Happy healthy new year. Hope your wife is recovering nicely. Best wishes for a great new year. I assume you have e assist on that trike for this ride!
Actually wish I was going somewhere warmer too. Thought there might be a ride today as it finally crept above zero degrees but the wind started and drove the wind chill down. Had to walk instead.
The groomed trail looks ideal for winter biking but could not help but wonder if xc skiers get upset about the groomed tracks the Full Fat is running over.
I like how you are so determined to get a ride done. Did you see those grizzlie bear tracks at 2.05? .........just joking. Ride safe and thanks for a most interesting trike ride.
Thanks for your video - I live in Northern Alberta with a similar weather and topography as yours - I am contemplating between a Full Fat and Adventure 26 HD - I would do both road and bush triking - What would be your comments on my choices?
Tough choice ... I have both trikes. The Adventure RS 26 is a fantastic trike for almost everything I’ve ridden but I don’t think you can exceed a 2.25 inch wide tire so softer terrain would be a chore. But, you really need to look at where you will ride 90% of the time. I purchased my Full Fat primarily to extend my riding season and I don’t want to be forced on the roads with the snow and dark. The Full Fat is quite capable on the roads just a bit slower and noisier. Tough choice ... I am thinking about outfitting my Adventure with some wider tires to see how it handles the snow and ice.
@@PedalPushinAK I thought I had watched all of your videos but I don't remember seeing a lynx. Around here it's mostly deer and there are quite a few coyotes. Do squirrels count? 😉
Cool shadow photo!

Furry friends are pretty reluctant to be around, something about the human factor. Make the jump, go for a ride. Cooler air does wonders for the body.

Do enjoy the quietness of night riding.

I’ve checked for that and with the lower pressure in my tires, I actually leave less imprints/impressions than the various animal and human tracks.
@@PedalPushinAK great to know thanx

Thanks for the comment ... weird fact ... there actually was a female grizzly that was roaming that trail last summer.

Too bad Flix Bus (European Greyhound) does not have a terminal in Alaska. Otherwise me and my Full Fat Trike would join you for a ride.
Sounds like a great plan ...
I don’t think I’ve noticed any wildlife on any of your rides. Do you see much?
Most leave before I can get the camera out. I did get some footage of a lynx in My Snow Full Fat Journey video.
