The Riddim title pays homage to this funky fusion klassic.

“DEE FuNKY SoKa '' Riddim highlights the many facets of MOSS International’s musical catalogue. From the emergence of the Kalypso Kastle in 1981 to the band's unique interpretation on what was referred to as “Funky Kalypso”.
The influence of the American Funk music on the Caribbean islands during the 70’s and 80’s, lead to the fusing of the “Funky basslines”, hence, the creation of the “Funky Kalypso” being produced by the Don Charles lead Kalypso Kastle, MOSS International from LaBaye, St. Andrew, Grenada.
The Riddim features reigning SpieMas Groovy Soca monarch @cryaveoffical. Reigning SpiceMas Carnival Queen @reesamcintosh. Former SpiceMas Road march winner @runi_jay. Trending socialite @pinkyy.francis and regional rising star @tamtammusic868 from Tobago.
