- 4th July 2024: Today the LEGO Group unveils the LEGO® Ideas JAWS set, a brick-built diorama commemorating the infamous 1975 blockbuster movie “JAWS,” from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.
To celebrate the launch, the LEGO Group, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, has created the first ever summer “brick-buster” mini-film, “JAWS…in a Jiffy,” a playful recreation of this iconic summer blockbuster movie - told in just 90-secs. The film features all the favorite scenes, plus a surprise minifigure reveal at the end, featuring award-winning director Stephen Spielberg behind the clapperboard.

They even included the shooting star in the show me the way to go home scene! And at the end, I love how the shark breaks down like how it happened during the movies production!

Yeah, The LGO Group would like to introduce things in more subtle way and not to make them afraid. We agree that LEGO Star Wars theme is really exciting for kids!
Lego doesn’t realize this but there Lego jaws shark has Claspers. Claspers are two little things at the sharks anal fins that the males use for reproduction. Basically Lego put a “You Know” on a shark. I didn’t see that coming

Nice work arounds, the shark can not "eat people" so the swimmer is shown to escape and Quint is eaten out of camera, and instead of having the shark blow up, Brody throws a piece at the tank, since they can't show shooting either, and the shark just flies away.
I'd say something, the water effects are really good in this.
It is happy ending for everyone....well not for the shark though. 😅 But at least the shark is only thrown away and will be back into the sea far-far away. The shark will need to eat LEGO fishes though and not minifigures 😄

Technically the movie was a lot more violent than this video. I’m surprised Lego decided to corporate with such a violent movie! I thought Lego was trying to avoid that!
Well, The LEGO Group has removed the violent content of the movie as you can see from the animation. So now we are have the cute and funny content. The movie itself is definitely not PG rated though
