No. It needs a resonant surface, preferably wooden. The skin covering your skull will prevent it from resonating properly.

The static means you put it in FM Radio mode. Tap the power button to put it back into Bluetooth mode

No, because object you stick it on needs to be empty because vabration in walls of object works the best, when i didn't know ANYTHING about this speaker, i thougt it will be a rock concrete by little bluetooth speaker. But thats not a bad question to ask someone who doesn't know how it works.
