I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!

One of the 'big' toy companies should consider making 12" sleeping bag/totebags sets for the dolls of little girls in shelters (and something for the boys too, of course). 🤗

So many great references in one doll! Robin, as in robin’s egg blue which is her color. Sterling because of the sterling silver jewelry Tiffany and Company is known for, as well as the blue boxes with the white ribbon. Her pillow is a Tiffany’s box!! I mean… and her eye mask is almost identical to Holly Golightly’s IN (ready…?) Breakfast at Tiffany’s!!! Aaaaahhhh!!!! I LOVE her! But, unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until later because I’m trying to be a responsible mama and get presents for my daughter for Christmas. Oh well! And I actually love those bunny slippers, wished they made them for real because I’d totally wear them wherever I could so the bunnies could silently judge others because I’m too guilty to say anything!

I was in the refuge with my daughter the staff gave my daughter a few toys for birthday she was really grateful . And every was so nice to her , It's a great idea to give to a shelter refuge and kids who are in care it would make there day :)

Finally found Marisa today. I prepaid for her and picked her up. I go down the toy aisle and I’m convinced all of the Marisas are in Upstate New York.

I think she's really beautiful!! I like the bunny slippers. You must have Bunnicular on your mind. Her first outfit with the heels are very vintage retro from Barbie. When I. was a child the chiffon and maribou were popular an so were babydoll pajamas. I love the color of her eyes, her hair, and her beautiful skin tone.

it’s really interesting what you said about these dolls being good for foster kids or people in women’s shelters! i’m chronically ill and disabled and that causes me to be at home in my pjs the majority of the time and I love sleepover dolls because they’re always in pjs too but they’re still cute and fashionable, which is something I try to do myself! I have a dead tired clawdeen I keep on my bed since I spend a lot of time laying in bed too since it’s best for my back

So for a lot of kids who are taken it’s actually not their reality, a lot of times it’s something that’s never happened before. Of course there is those who unfortunately get taken multiple times but that’s definitely not the majority & it’s definitely scarier the first time. Like I mean traumatic.. not that it’s not traumatizing to be taken multiple times but the first time hits different. Like I honestly can’t even describe in words the innate fear, tightening of the chest & almost inability to breath
Having something given to them to try to make them feel safe & take their mind off things may seem trivial but it can go a long way, like mini note pads with invisible ink games, fidget toys, colouring books, colourful picture books & choose your own adventures, dolls that the packaging becomes a play set so they can use it on the go & set it up wherever without hassle
She brought up children who may have been sleeping in a car & be lucky to have a sleeping bag but there are many other scenarios including children of wealthy family’s who are taken away from having everything & dropped off at what to them seems like a shack with 4-10 other kids of multiple ethnicities who all grew up in completely different living classes. Then there’s some kids taken from healthy loving homes cuz a neighbour complained one of the parents smoked marijuana & the worker finds a, “roach” on the premises. Meanwhile the kid is fully articulate, happy & healthy!
In any case no matter the child’s previous situation they now face an unknown future. You never know if they’ll be taken to a wealthy home with toys & clothes waiting for them or to one of the scummy homes with no toys, no clothes (till 2 days later when the worker takes them shopping, & that mind you is only in good districts. I’ve heard stories of much worse like the foster mother keeping the clothing allowance & forcing the child to wear donated clothes & hand me downs. Why is this wrong?? Other than the fact the person is fraudulently using the funds provided, every child deserves to feel special & proud & especially get new shoes for the first day of school) these horrible foster homes have no phones (only the adults have their own phones that the kids are not allowed to use) no computers & some of the other kids in the home are total bullies. I bet most of you would actually be surprised if you saw the difference of foster homes in rich & poor areas… it’s honestly mind blowing!!!
Anyway giving them something that is THEIRS, that nobody can take away, that can go a long way. It’s also something to keep them occupied, I suggest markers & colouring books to go with the dolls
You can contact your local CPS or (CAS in Canada) to find out how you can help! There is SO many ways to help make a difference in a child’s life other than being an actual foster parent. Members of the doll community in my opinion would make AWESOME big sisters & big brothers too! So what are you waiting for?! Get googling & make that call! You could be the reason someone doesn’t give up, you can make a kid smile, you can help save a life 🌻🦋🌈💖
Thank goodness I found Robin Sterling two weeks ago. No luck as yet finding the other two dolls 😟. Robin is a beautiful doll.

I hate it that MGA releases so many Target or Walmart exclusive dolls. We don't have Target or Walmart in Europe so I will have to pay over 100 euros per doll to get my hands on one. I love these so much but I'll never have them :'( .

I was able to get Robin Sterling used this year for $13.00. I,m late at getting RH dolls. So I buy barbie clothes and custom outfits to keep my girls glamorous. And i,m in my 50,s too. I love rainbow high dolls!💖👍😍🤩😊
I was literally loling at the murder bunny slippers fear. Hahaha omg! Lol Anyway! I managed to find this doll after seriously stalking her on the Walmart site. I prefer OMG dolls, but I broke down for Daphne Minton and Robin Sterling. I am calling her Tiffany. I love the Breakfast at Tiffany's movie and book, and her old Hollywood glamor warms my retro-loving heart! Her 2nd outfit gives me a Kathrine Hepburn vibe. So we've got both Hepburns! I will open her at Christmas time. I'm giving my partner a Na Na Na sleepover doll then too, so we can play! 💙💚🤎💝
I'm keeping an eye on Amazon, I hope they come there before Christmas, as unless I get a 'MyUS' account, there's no other way I can get the dolls (the joy of living outside of the US and in a country where Rainbow High never arrived)

I wish these dolls were easier to find for international collectors like myself, I want to get all 3 of them really but had to settle for 1 cause they are so overpriced and expensive to ship here. Hopefully they'll pop up on international amazon sites cause I really would love to add Marisa & Robin. Not too fond of that shade of blue in her hair though, it's ok but too blue-ish turquoise imo, the main reason I chose to get Brianna instead (I live for light pink hair tbh). Marisa were never in the running cause she were the most expensive and she also has my least favorite hair of the 3.

Robin is gorgeous but I have to say I you pronounced Briannas last name wrong its dulce (pronunciation dool _ce) which means candy in spanish, and thats probably why she is bubblegum pink

I miss the Rainbow High gelled hair, it allowed us to wash the hair so it would be extremely soft and tamed. I also miss the smell of the hair after I would melt the gell with hot water. It also made the hair shed less, and be more tame!! Also the plastic things are awful, so many holes. There’s also this weird thing where their bodies are covered in scratches and holes! It’s like they’re glass and fell and broke. Rainbow High quality is just non-existant.
