Is it just me or does anybody else play a little game that I like to call spot Illy? Every once in awhile there is a reflection or quick still shot of her and it reminds me that Robert isn't by himself.
LOL, I do the same thing. She is like where's Waldo, see if you can find the Illy.
Haha, you saw her in the elevator, too. 😁 Sometimes, it's just her shadow. 😂
I watched his videos for months before I finally realized that she was with him 😂
I spotted her going into the elevator.
@@bidensbrain2383 Ha, me too!
Interesting Hot Spring........You drive and work too many hours.........Fortunately you love what you doi. ...........Keep safe.........and I 'll see you on the road......Love....MOM...>>>
I’m still amazed almost every day how beautiful our country is. Another great video, Robert!
I don’t know how I could travel without your reviews. Albuquerque is still one of my favorites.
Thanks for doing this.
The history of Hot Springs is really interesting. It has an Al Capone connection along with Babe Ruth who attended Spring training there at one time. I have grown up going to Hot Springs for most of my 62 years but it is always fun to see it through the eyes of someone who has never been there before. Thank you for visiting and sharing!
Great stuff. Thank you by the way for including the highway number in the top left corner of your road shots. Really helps to follow along. I enjoy that. Looking forward to the next one. As always, safe travels.
I love the new route shield display on the top left that;s very cool and helpful
Hey Robert, another great video--thanks for putting these together! Great time to go through the Oklahoma panhandle when the vegetation is still green. As you noted, it's really lighted inhabited--kudos to the people who choose to live there and use the land. Looking forward to more videos on your trip to Alaska!
Hello once again from the great state of Oregon...
Hello Traveling Robert, I'm really enjoying the ride from Hot Springs through OKC and into New Mexico. I am just enjoying the ride as we head out to the Rocky Mountains...which I have been through many times but that area of the country never gets old. Robert...OUTSTANDING VIDEO! I can't wait for next Sunday!
That visitor center and museum was really something special. Big old buildings, beautifully maintained and with so much stuff you will not find anywhere else. Blows my mind just how many people must have come and used the facility at one time. Even for nowadays that is a big place and to have it full with people getting all those weird treatments? One of a kind place. So very interesting.
Love Hot Springs, AR. Will visit it AGAIN this year (2023) and also will visit Oklahoma.
We have to fly from PR. to Houston, TX and then the ADVENTURE Start....No time frame for the Adventure. We LOVE to Drive and Stop when ever we want. There is No pressure.
We are RETIRED.
Like everybody else, we're really excited about your newest travel series! 🎉 We also love Happy Egg. Their eggs are a staple in our RV. 😂 And... Yayyyyyy we spotted Illy! Love y'all! Safe travels!! ❤😎👍🏻
Yes it’s like finding Waldo! We always are looking for her on the trips!
Hot Springs is a Fascinating place.
Looking so forward to watch this Alaska trip. ❤
From Mena to Talihina there is a scenic drive. Looks like you stayed in the valley parallel to it. Running a long the top of the mountains there are great vistas and a historic hotel, The Queen Wilhelmina Inn built for railroad passengers who were crossing the mountains. I worked those mountains cutting the Ouchita Trail for the USGS
I see that scenic drive on the map. I'll take it next time. Thank you!
The proud home state of slick Willy and Paula Jones.
Looking forward to this series. You do am amazing job showing us the US and now Canada!
We were at that KOA in Hot Springs in November coming back from Galveston. Nice town to walk through. We loved the promenade. We wanted to do a spa day, but the prices are a bit ridiculous!
Have a safe trip!
Oh man, you went through Hartshorne! That's where my parents and family are from! I haven't been there since I was a teenager back in the 1980's!
Enjoyed this video because I’ve been to most of these places. It’s interesting how a whole town was built on some springs that happened to have hot water coming out of them. Tells you what lengthens people would go to for relief from arthritic pain back then. History is always interesting to look into
I've been exploring that "uninhabitable area" alot recently and idk I've just grown to love it. Big wide open spaces and it's so easy to find somewhere to be completely away from other people. That road you were on at the end of the video is a road I drive often. The first time I ever saw the rockies was from that route. No matter how many times it happens, once you cross into THE WEST, it's just emotional. I know you feel the same coming from Florida. Can't wait until the next one!
This is a one of a kind National Park.
Beautiful place! My great grandmother is buried in Benton Arkansas! ❤
Bugs on the windshield? Yep, you’re in Oklahoma! 🐞
So cool Robert. Next time you're in SE Oklahoma let us know. You passed right by our driveway but the clip started at our neighbors mailboxes about 15 miles before you got to Hartshorn, Okla. We are the Kizer's. I'm sure you saw our mailbox. We've been following you for quite some time and love watching your videos. We too are travelers. We are both retired teachers and are in the process of converting a 1972 Dodge Tradesman into a camping van. We are about to start our own travel You Tube channel called (Forge ahead with the Kizer's). Maybe we will "See you on the road."
I like I-40 in Eastern Arkansas. Gee the Hot Springs National Park sure looks interesting. Of course the hey-day for the spas and bath houses was during the big TB epidemics in America in the 1800s and early 1900s when taking the hot spring water baths and breathing the sulfuric air and laying in the warm Sunshine was a health benefit to those who did not yet have good quality medicine we do now (no antibiotic medicines and most used opium poppy narcotic patent medicines and alcohol to relieve their suffering in those times). I recognized Hartshorn OK and McAlester and OK City. Glad to know about Loves as a possible RV place to stay in OK City.
Safe travels!
WOW! EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE! THANK YOU!
Another great video. Looks like a fun drive so far.
Living in hot springs is awesome
Love watching this video. Able to see the same places we visited a few yrs ago!
Some day I hope to go there. Been hearing about it for decades it seems and still haven't visited. Thanks for the vid this morning. Nice way to wake up early on the central west coast with cup of coffee.
Robert, we just left Hot Springs yesterday on our way back home to NJ. We are sorry to have missed you. We stayed at the same KOA you did. It was one of the nicest KOA’s! Since we were there for a few days we were able to go to one of the bath houses and take in the waters the way they did back in the day. It was a fabulous experience, very unique. And we are bringing home some of the water to share with folks back home. We are paying close attention to your trip to Alaska as we plan to do this in the future. And by the way your videos have been really helpful to us on this trip. This is a first big RV trip. We went as far West as Utah and visited the five National parks out there and the Grand Canyon in AZ. Your videos have been really helpful to us. Thanks to your video we learned we could stay at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago. This way we were able to afford a longer visit with our kid who is living there without over relying on their hospitality. It was nice returning to our tiny towable each evening to sleep. We can see how difficult what you are doing must be. We are working and traveling right now and have an appreciation for how difficult it is to do what you are doing. Thanks for your efforts to show us these beautiful sights. So glad we decided to get out here ourselves to see and experience our beautiful counter in this way.
Excellent video. This one is on my list for sure!
Back roads do give the best views and gas milage. Thanks for your video!
We stayed at the Arlington last fall when we went to Hot Springs for a couple days. Such a nice city to visit.
I love your videos, not many people can do what you do. I love seeing different states that you drive through. Drive safe and keep the videos coming. I can't wait to see you in alaska!
Thanks for the new music Until 21:30 :)
Fantastic video Robert! Arkansas is so beautiful, not what I expected. The view from the tower was stunning!
Great video! Really looking forward to this series. THANK YOU for placing the road sign in the upper left corner! So helpful knowing what road your on. We prefer driving secondary roads instead of driving interstate whenever possible. Continued safe travels!
Dang Ro-Mo you missed the Arlington hotel
Nice country rural Arkansas and Oklahoma, two areas you don't see much on travel shows. Would like to see you take a deeper dive into the Ozarks and the rural areas of these two states one day. Also Missouri besides Branson and St Louis
I wish I knew you were in Hot Springs - I would have looked you up! Glad you enjoyed it. It appears you drove through on 270 my favorite Oklahoma town - Slapout!
The Hot Springs Tour was very interesting. On our visit to Arkansas we found it to be a gorgeous place to visit. Another great video!
I live about an hour’s drive from Hot Springs Virginia. Now I’ve put Hot Springs Arkansas is on my bucket list. I enjoyed today’s video.
Hello Robert! Another great video! Your travel vlogs are some of the best on the internet. Thank you for sharing your adventures!
Wishing you a safe & wonderful adventure, Robert. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride & Goooooood Morning!! ❤❤
Hey Robert, hope your Alaskan adventure is going well! Seeing you cross the bridge in the opening segment I'm reminded of when I crossed it in 2021 right about the time they discovered the cracked beam and shut it down. There were a lot of construction workers casting concerned looks over the side..of course I had no idea of what was going on.
Love the stained glass ceilings in the Fordyce! The contraptions they used back then really do look like torture devices 🙂The Arlington Hotel is well worth checking out for the art deco architecture and the grand lobby with it's luxurious furnishings. See you Friday on the live stream...happy trails!
Oh now it’s really really starting, that trip to Alaska! Great episode and love the new ending as the credits roll… Was waiting for your wave out the window but nope 👋🏻…🤷🏻♂️😂
Safe travels. Beautiful video!!! I've never been here before. So. Thank you!!!!
wow cant wait to see more this is cool ty for sharing your journey with us
I love the Arlington Hotel! So amazing and historic. A little run down but still so cool! Underground mall and pool/jacuzzi out back. That’s where I stay when I’m in Hot Springs. I live about 1 1/2 hrs away in Texarkana, which is on the border of Texas/Arkansas/Louisiana (Tex-Ar-kana)
Your son has shown us how beautiful the United States is one State at a time...Dios te cuide mucho 💖
Im retiring later this year. Hope to replicate some of your driving escapades.
I got gas at Loves in Lafayette, Indiana for $2.67 the other day which was pretty cheap compared to most Stations in Lafayette.
Loved the bath house tour! Agree that some of that stuff did look like a torture chamber!
Wow! I spent Memorial day weekend in the area! (visited Ozark national forest and rented a cabin near by) would have been cool to run into you. I was 30 mins from hot springs and went there every morning for reception to plan what i wanted to do from that friday til monday. I actually visited Hot springs on the inside on that monday to get a bunch of the Hot spring thermal beer for my coworkers. 8-25oz cans for $106...
Hot springs is really interesting, national park and historic district. my aunt and uncle used to live in oden, ark, ;not too far from hot springs, enjoy your trip cant wait till you get to alaska with the videos
We liked the Rockwood travel trailer but 31k is steep for that unit!
Hahahahaha! LMBO Robertico regarding the bathhouse steam room. You're so right! They do look like a torture chamber. Jajajajaja! Dios Mio! Hahahahaha!
I had to live there for a while there is nothing I liked about that place ! To many Tornados ! 🚗❤️🌧️🌧️😊
I wish you well on your trip to alaska robert
Hi Robert hi mom wishing you a safe trip ,thankyou for the video great views robert thanks
wow came right thru my own town of woodward oklahoma. would of love to meet ya and have some barbq at Wagg's barbq. I would of bought.
My wife and both burst out in laughter with the Google Maps choice in driving directions.
We had similar questionable directions in Arkansas a week prior, trying to get to a Corps of Engineers campground on Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas.😅
ЛАЙК !!! 😊👍
That’s no joke about the road out of Clayton New Mexico being one of the most desolate areas. My two daughters, two grandkids and two dogs traveled that road in April and actually ran out of gas. We sat on the side of the road for 2 hours until a Good Samaritan finally stopped and went and got gas for us. I’m sure that story will be passed down through the generations of the time Yia Yia miscalculated the gas mileage of the rental car. 😬
This area looks really beautiful and all the buildings look amazing 😊 However, It seems strange that it is a national park. Your video on this park was great 😊 Lots of good information and history.
what we should do is have a company that makes those orange road signs.
I think Love's is an Oklahoma company. Pilot is a Tennessee-based company. Both are fine, in my opinion.
My dad was a kinésithérapeute in Spa Belgium
It sure looks the same from the pictures I have
Spa is a common name but I know where it comes from
Fun fact: Mena, Arkansas was the hometown of former TWA pilot turned drug smuggler, Barry Seal. Tom Cruise played him in the 2017 film American Made and Ball Ground, Georgia (my home) was used as the filming location as Mena.
Oh Robt that bath house looked like mid evil torture chambers
❤
Judging from the comments, I think you need more Illy content😁👍
Do you consider road trip to Alaska via Canada that would be a lifetime adventure
Robert God made Beer because he wanted us to Happy🍺😎
You and ily find the most off-beat places? Like me! 🍀🇺🇸😎⚓️Steven the eye glasses guy!
Robert, I’m sure you have explained this before but why aren’t you using the trailer fold down steps ?
Didn't like the flip down ladder
GO TO THE HAWAII
No drones but no filming either without permit. How did you do that?
Booked a trip to ypur home town in cuba😮
Good luck
Hi Robert. This is episode 13 of season 10, but I somehow missed the precious episodes from Tennessee and earlier in season 10. Did you publish them? Last I saw was the Oregon coast. 🤔
Yes. They are all there... Oregon was one I hadn't published from last year
@@TravelingRobert thank you. Safe travels and thank you for all your great videos!
Awesome as usual. Quick question tho-isn’t using a vpn going against Netflix’s terms? I heard you can get banned for using one on Netflix and other streaming services.
it that a good mc donolds lol
Rob, where are your steps to Minnie tinnie 4?....and how big is the gas tank on Starship?
I removed them. Starship is 24 gallons
@@TravelingRobert thanks Rob, we love you guys!
I've noticed I'm no longer listed as an executive producer 😢
🧐 Let me fix that
Many parts of your video was of poor quality. Hard to watch. But we love Hot Springs, AR. Just wish the video quality was a little better.
I don't understand why she isn't more involved. I would appreciate her input from a female and wife's point of view. I am annoyed with her. Show yourself Illy.
