Oh hey! Also fun fact, Glitch already announced their next series, it's called The Gaslight District and it will involve a third indie animator as the director again, it's apparently a post apocalyptic chaotic dark fantasy that already has a really cool artstyle of its own, can't wait for that.
FUN FACT Gooseworx herself voices Bubble, Caine's lovable little sidekick! it's cool to hear the creator's voice contributing to such a big project of hers~
Another fun fact; Zooble is voiced by Ashley Nicols, host of the HuniCast CZcams channel and cleanup artist for Vivzie's work on HH. She also happens to be the girlfriend of Michael Kovach, the voice of Jax
FUN FACT 1: Jax(purple rabbit man)'s voice actor voices N(the guy from murder drones)and his partner voices zooble(miss mach character). FUN FACT 2: The gloink queen's(two headed thing) voice actress also voices uzi(the girl from murder drones). Edit: The little guys you liked so much were called gloinks.
Aw HELL yes, been waiting to see this! - though when it zooms right out at the end, whoever Pomni was IRL isn't there at the desk. No one's wearing that headset. It's a horrifying little show-dont-tell that could mean ANYTHING.
I do want to point out that Liam isn't the one behind Glitch Productions, Glitch is a totally separate company that Liam has no connection to outside of Murder Drones. Plus, the only connection The Amazing Digital Circus has to Murder Drones is that N is Caine's son (Caine is the teeth man).
Man, it's always impressive to see how much Ryan can pick up from the little details in the background that most people don't usually notice first time around. One of the reasons why I think you're a pretty good reactor. Personally, there are elements of the first episode that didn't amaze me, but I do like other points like the personalities, character designs and art style and I also think it has potential to perhaps be better in the future in regards to the parts I wasn't impressed by. I definitely feel like it has this sort of addictive aura that draws you in, so that even someone like me whose first impression was mediocre can't help but come back to it and be interested.
I heard that 2 inspirations for Caine were "AM" from "I have no mouth but I must scream" and "Spamton G. Spamton"(a malfunctioning robot dumpster hobo and former [NUMBER 1 RATED SALESMAN 1997]... he is also friends with Dr. Gaster) from Deltarune I see the Spamton in him but I don't see the AM connection
one of my favorite reaction moments of yours was when you first met the meat ball man in little Runmo, so I'm thrilled to see you reacting to another Gooseworx project.
35:00 Liminal, nor subliminal. And the thing why they are scary is similar to the uncanny valley effect. It appears so similar to an actual place/room/building and yet it clearly is not
I had no idea that this cartoon existed. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I will do some investigating into its Gestalt. There is a ton of stuff going on. This cartoon is an AI using the genre of Surreal, DaDa, and modern Fractal mathematics, seasoned with Tim Burton's anti Disney themes. There is also a mix of Freudian and Jungian stuff going on. I will look into it.
i think tadc has a really good start :) i actually hope it isn't a "child version" of helluva boss. i want it to be its own unique thing, plus i'm not a big fan of helluva boss's writing/humor, it feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be at times
I should clarify what I meant by that. I don't want the show to be like helluva boss but what helluva boss does for its adult fans, TADC can do for kids. If what I'm saying makes sense.
I know Rec Room. Yeah, Ryan, this is totally giving me DHMIS vibes. I can't wait to see more. Also, THANKS! IT WAS KILLING ME HOW FAMILIAR BUBBLE LOOKED, AND I COULDN'T PUT MY FINGER ON IT!
There are 100 different things to point out in this animation but I am just gonna focus on my opinion and let the others fill you in. Frankly, you are correct on the idea of the mystery and the liminal spaces that capture people's attentions. I think people have the tendency to latch a lot to character and wacky humor pretty easily which helps its appeal. But what really hooks me in is what you speak about the creavitity and potential BEHIND the piece itself, it will always be original because Gooseworx always had a talent to create abstract content that touches on the unexpected and the uncomfortable through a cute artstyle, just like how they did with Little Runmo and Darly Boxman if you remember your reaction to those. I knew you'd have fun with this, by far one of my favorite indie projects created, it ABSOLUTELY deserves its popularity indepedently of the bad sides. It really is a revolution for the animation industry.
Amazing digital circus is one of the most fastest viewed video i have ever experienced i remember the first 2 weeks already had 20 million then the end of the month it was 100 million its insane
Oh gosh Ryan watching The Amazing Digital Circus? Oh yeah this is gonna be AWESOME. Can't wait for seeing you watching it! Greetings from where I'm watching you,love ya Ryan‼️💞
Agreed infinite rooms like backrooms are so boring and i dont know why people like em however i find the story of this one to be quite intriguing and the characters are super charming
He has on stream, he was confused why would they because he thought they were going to remake all 1000+ episodes instead of presumably compressing them.
So, first off, I would like to recommend the Mat Pat video on the series. I don't normally watch his content, but his theory-crafting for this pilot is *very* interesting. Maybe you can do a reaction to that? If you'd like too, of course. I don't want to come off as pushy. Moving on, if he's correct, this wouldn't be an isekai. He has theorized that the featureless mannequins seen throughout the pilot are actually blank-slates. Just waiting for a human to put on the headset. So that said human can copy/paste their personality and sense of self onto them. Thus creating another sentient character for Caine to torment. Anyways, I really enjoyed the comedy in this video, so I thank you for yet another amazing reaction.
@@livedeadman Her other stuff is pretty good, with the main thing being the various animations set in the "Pink City". Elain The Bounty Hunter is immediately followed plot wise by Elain Gets Adopted, but otherwise the rest as disconnected beyond the shared setting. You will quickly be able to pick out influences that they had on Digital Circus, even if the original form was a bit more surreal. Liam Vickers also has a few more things to be found (well, a lot more things, but only one is on the actual channel for him). Let's Split Up is a very short animatic following shapeshifting monsters trying to blend in with a summer camp. Interestingly, there exists a longer and earlier pilot for a fully fledged series based on the concept, but this is only available by hidden links on his actual website. Similarly hard to track down is a full pilot for another show by him that never took off, this one with full voice acting. As the video is private, it is only available if you are given a link (available upon request). The rabbit hole only goes deeper however, but unless you want the Deep Lore I will stop for now. Put simply, most of the concepts we see in Murder Drones are far less distressing/hard hitting versions of things that have been done before, for better and for worse. As always, thank you for responding and good luck on your future endeavors.

I love that you only needed to see a door to predict a whole third of the episode
Hahahaha and thats all thanks to lethal company. It's like the same door
@@livedeadmanRYAN, THERE MIGHT BE A QUEEN! I THINK YOU CAUGHT IT!
That thumbnail is a lie, if you were a TADC character you would definitely be Kinger Ryan!
31:39 you notice that Little runmo Reference?
True
He would definitely abstract the moment he enters the circus. If not, he would last for about an hour
As a huge fan of Little Runmo, I got it. And I appreciated it. Immensely.
So nice of Ryan to wait until hype goes down a bit. Very based.
That chess piece with the crossed out icon on their door is actually a queen chess piece whose name is confirmed to be "Queenie"
I thought it would be a queen!

Jax is like a combination of Red Guy and Duck. Red Guy's dry delivery, Duck's douchey personality.
15:57 This might be the funniest fucking gag ive ever seen a CZcamsr do, the SOUND afterwards

Caine = ringleader (nice guy, means well)
Pomni = Main Character / Jester
Bubble - the Bubble/ghost chomper
Ragatha = Doll
Jax = Rabbit
Gangle = Ribbons
Kinger = Chess Piece
Zooble = The odd one out
WOOOOOH
Been so excited for you in particular to react to this
Hope you enjoyed it!

Oh. Okay. XD
Fun fact
This video came out the same day I had eye surgery
MY EYES HAD TO BLEED FOR ME TO BEHOLD THIS MASTERPIECE
Oh my.
This show is based on the book “I have no mouth but I must scream”
Never heard of that book
Ohhh wow yeah you can definitely see the inspiration.
Oh you mean like that super depressing video game? Yeah I can kinda see it
@@livedeadman it's originally a written story.

We also need to remember the fandub voice that Caine's VA provided for Spamton in the past, which was GODLIKE.
surprised you didn't recognize Jax's voice immediately
