But nowadays it’s easier with social media and you really don’t need a label behind you like back in the day. A label was the only game in town back then. Look if it’s your passion and you are just that good and believe in yourself then I recommend you go for it. But give yourself a date. Like a 5 year plan and if it doesn’t work after that then I recommend doing something else that you are skilled in or are passionate about. Be ready for a lot of “NO’s” and “We are going to pass this time “ and if you can’t handle rejection then don’t even get into the business period. If you want to work in the entertainment industry there are plenty of other jobs,careers that you can do. I have no regrets,I loved my career and have so many amazing memories to look back on.
