    I just tried this but I used parchment paper instead of a silicone mat and I added blue gel for colouring and it was perfect. Thank you so much for the recipe.

    Which kind of sugar are you using ? I did it but I didn’t put they syrub, it gave me A white colored tail and its not clear

      I use normal granulated sugar. If you can get the white sugar it will be BEST

      You can use a silicone lace mat or any other silicone material you have, just as long as it's flat

      Cooling down after pouring it on your silicone mat might take about 30-50mins BUT you can speed up the process by putting it somewhere WINDY.
      DO NOT PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE

      So sorry about that.
      Sugar Sail is super sensitive to atmosphere. During cold weather it will absorb moisture then start getting soft.
      I suggest during this period you use it immediately

      It could also be that the sugar mixture is the wrong consistency. I think there’s a formula for specifically how many degrees the sugar should be before pouring it. Like if it was too cool then it’ll be too sticky/unstable and if it’s too hot it will be too stiff/fragile.
