  • Historic monuments throughout Kimberley in the Northern Cape are being destroyed.
Vandals who know the value of some of the materials used to create statues around the city are targeting them.
The Sol Plaatje Municipality says they are fighting a losing battle and are now finding alternative ways to replace the damaged historic sites and selling some of the land parcels to the Sol Plaatje University to help with the upkeep of some of the sites and to avoid further damage.

🎉 Kimberley is a failed city, their water problem will also bring it to its knees soon. They took the diamonds and left it in a very bad state then sold the company!
