I understand creators urge to get paid but then dont put "free" in the title. Thank you so much for this.
You’re welcome! In all honesty I do have videos where I promote my own products, but I only promote it as an extra, not as part of the tutorial. I like keeping tutorials accessible and would only want someone to purchase something if they’re financially able to. :)

That is not ok imo. I cannot have a shop and write "free" on a product and then ask for money at the counter. I guess you understand what i mean :-) Then it would be at least as fair to write in the description that this tutorials requires bought assets. Anyway, good job on your videos. I have a recommendation for anyone that wants to get a really authentic looking camcorder/vhs retro look and it is to buy a camcorder off of ebay! I just got one and am trying it out and have to say it is a TRIP! Wild taking footage of the "future" (2021) and playing it back... looking like it's the 1990's. To get this authentic look on modern cameras/software would be very difficult as there are so many factors that go into the real footage you get from a camcorder. In my opinion it's kind of a blast having some retro gear for any occasion you want to go for this look. Just be sure to read ebay listings carefully to make sure they aren't only being sold for parts.
If I can somehow get the cam coder footage into my PC I would simply record a black screen with the cam coder and then use the "screen" blend mode just to see what happen. Thank you for the ideas I get form the tutorial. I am getting problem while getting the VHS preset. BTW your cam coder is 3 years older than me. :)

I'm not aware of an option to change the font of the timecode effect, but I just created my own timecode for this one because it was only a few seconds. I created a text layer, used the VCR font and then cut it on the second and change the number :)
Those files are already presets. So just download those and then open them in premiere pro by right clicking on the preset folder in the effects panel and then click on "import preset"

@@suckmyartauds omg that's a pain in the ass 😅 premiere does rely on a GPU, so if you wanna add effects, it's gonna be tough when you don't have a GPU. You could maybe download a video overlay and put that on top of your video to create a similar effect? What does premiere say? Is it unable to add the effects or unable to preview the effect when you apply it?
Well, here is an idea. I have explained an explanation of how a video looks like the 1990s. What do you think about making the video clean and of better quality? You can consider it a challenge if you want.
