Love the guy smoking the cigar next to the aircraft!
Beautiful aircraft! I'm loving these comments; every pilot wants to know what people are thinking!
I would like to recommend checking the CZcams Video of James Asquith as he first did an aerobatics flight it was cool to watch :)
Loving this! This is too good to watch on my phone. I’m going to watch it on my big screen when I get home! Exciting! Thanks for posting. You’re awesome.
thank you Mark!
top gun vibe with the helmet ^_^ i like it
No one can ever say your life is boring Valerie!!! That was awesome!
Mr. Martin glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!!
Holy Cow Val!!!!! Was awesome but the first couple of minutes my heart was pounding for you.......but then as it went along it was just awesome!!!!! I had that throw up feeling like I am out of control feeling but then it was just pure beauty!!!!
The acrobatics were done smoothly not in a jerky quick turn way so was fun to watch!!!!!!!!
having a smoke next to a full fueled plane.......hum......
Ahhh a Citabria on the ramp. That’s what I did my aerobatics training in.
I wish you would have put a timestamp in the description because most of this video is just flying straight ahead
Extra is always a bit extra.. pure flying
I love the Extras and doing "aeros", but much prefer listening to the big-6 rather than electronic music. ptththh :)
I really enjoyed watching the maneuvers from the wing. It was cool looking at the background to guess the maneuver as it was developing. 👍 good job Val. Keep up the good work and keep up your aerobatic lessons, there’s a lot to learn, I’m sure you’ll agree. Love your new channel
Steve Bodine thank you! Can’t wait for the next lessons!! So much to learn !!✈️
Wicked cool camera angles! Cool plane too.
WOW...what an experience! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Sexy plane too ;-)
I would love to do that; just one stomach turning flight!!! It looks like that plane is all engine, prop and 15 gallons of fuel. The control surfaces are huge!
Tu eres una mujer de mucho coraje!
You´re a woman with a lot of strength!
Que valor
AWESOME very cool.
how cool is this ...really flying .. what is the wire on the left wing for ?
To gauge the horizon with.
45* 90* .....it’s been a while
Can’t wait to train with Shaun again!!
@@SkylineBaronPilot oh wow thanxs a lot .. makes sense . i always used a 1/2 filled coke bottle filled with colored water ...
@@TheRuffusMD 😂good system!!! 🤣
More specifically, it’s a sight gauge used for competition aerobatics. In competition, you get graded on precision. Are you really going straight up/down? 45 degrees? The pilot uses the gauge by aligning one of the parts of the sight with the horizon, then he/she knows they are at the angle they want to be. It’s surprising how visible just a couple of degrees can be to the judges.
@@davidreinhardt6956 thanks
AWESOME.
Awesome! That back wheel looks like it came from a rollerblade. 😀
Low drag is key on this type of airplane 😎
Super good thanks.
America's Cotton farmers and retailers provide many shirts that fit properly and comfortably. There's no shortage.
Great to see you moving out of your Highly Performance B58 to knowing the Tailwheel Aircraft and what a difference it will be for you Skyline Baron Pilot. Enjoy this moment at your first Acrobatic lesson
Bernard, Thank you! It was a great flight and can't wait for the next lesson.
That was COOL !!!! Now wangle a backseat ride with the Thunderbirds or Blue angles !!!!!!!
That was awesome Val! Now are you ready for aerobatics? I got dizzy just watching! :-) Don/NE Ohio
That was awsome
Hunter Ayers thank you! glad you enjoyed it!
NO SMOKING WITHIN 50 FEET.
MAINTENANCE CREW USE CAUTION!
nobuyuki abe yes, all cigars are extinguished near any planes.
First thing I noticed .....
The greatst Luck in Live you can can have....is... Make other Peoples lucky 👍❤️.
Well that was very cool and with a great sky. How well did you sleep that night?
The Flight Level slept like a baby 😁
Oh ya. !!! Make it happen
just curious about something, maybe someone could expound on it a little, but my question is this; under what scenario would either one of those use their parachute? Think about it before just thinking I'm stupid.
awesome Capt Valerie!
That taxi 2 takeoff lasted forever. Great vid. Keep them coming Captain Val!!
Looked like a lot of fun, and probably a real head rush. Did you experience any light headed feelings? So, more lessons coming?
I did after the spin and got all the exhaust fumes in the cockpit. After that, I got weak. ;) Will get with Shaun for more training soon.
@@SkylineBaronPilot Sorry to hear it wasn't as good of an experience as you were probably hoping for, but exhaust fumes too? I trust that the weakness wasn't from any carbon-monoxide type symptoms. Be careful out there Valerie!
cmcer1995 it was an amazing experience . Just the fumes at the end of the spin got me a little nauseous.
Really nice video! Just a question...are you sure it's an Extra 300? It looks more like 330LX
Just confirmed.
It’s got a 580 engine. Thank you for correcting.
@@SkylineBaronPilot No problems! Thanks to you for the nice video!
Tell Shaun hello because he's has a great student
Bernard, Will do. He is a great instructor too :)
That was a lowpass my style
Quite a good idea to smoke near a plane
Martin Beyer , all cigars are always extinguished near any planes.
Super cool, merci pour la vidéo, sais tu combien de G as tu pris pendant ce vol.
4G's :)
@@SkylineBaronPilot merci, bon dimanche
zizou45 merci! A toi aussi!!
What helmet is Shaun using?
jestertoo Shaun has a Merit.
Smoking a cigar close to the airplane?
For Safety purposes, all cigars are extinguished if they are near any plane.
FYI people used to smoke all the time in planes. Bonanzas and barons had ash trays.
@@RelativeWind Also, cars did not have seat belts. That doesn't mean was safe.
It would have been much better with your voices on the audio.
Thank you for your constructive comment. Since then, I have been adding more cameras and audio cables. Next time I'll fly with Shaun, we will have a much better setup. :)
This Helmet looks like a pissing pott....
Disappointing. This is your first aerobatic flight yet we saw nothing of you or your reactions. The audio was not very good either. Go and have a chat with Stevo about doing high standard vlogs.
Nigel Appleton this was my second video... cut me some slack 😂
@@SkylineBaronPilot Having watched, and very much enjoyed, your first this was disappointing. However, I take your point so will shut up and hope soon to become a follower. Stevo needs so competition!
Not really aerobatics ....I learnt that stuff in a de Havilland Canada DHC-1..... this machine can do some spectacular aeros.
@@brouillacblues with more experience and time, I’ll get there some day 😁
@@SkylineBaronPilot If Im honest I never really liked the violent manoeuvres............unless you are into competition stick to the pleasant rolls and loops on a summer evening with lots of height!
