For Example 5 - it might be interesting to finger the notes of the enclosures with the 4th finger “exclusively” for the Fm9 and Bb7#5 voicing & use the 3rd finger “exclusively” for the Ebmaj9 chord. Obviously, this fingering strategy would be totally tempo dependent. Thank you for another Great Lesson! You are “one of the best” guitar teachers on CZcams. Happy Holidays!

Thanks for that lesson that is very interesting rhythmically. As an intermediate player I have to fight not always to start on the beat! To get the starting chromatic melody, isn't it easier to think tritone sub on the 5?

People tend to organize information in different ways, so I always encourage people to find the way that makes the most sense (easiest) for them.
