David Blaine's Peugeot 206 GTi commercial that went out across the UK in cinemas in the summer of 1999 (just as I was sitting down to watch Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace if I remember correctly!). It was then run as a TV campaign in the UK in 2000 and proved to be a huge hit for both Peugeot and magic. "The Peugeot 206 GTi - Now you see it, now you don't". remember watching it in a theater back then. today was the second time ever.
the lines "this is not a trick" and "now you see it..." have stack in my brain ever since.
i did not know who DB was until a few months ago.
