Awesome! Great work. It’s a pitty they took out the bus now 2020. But I see, many people lost their lives trying to reach that bus. Merry Xmas to all!

You should have traveled same time frame as Chris... snow, cold ... then you may have known how he felt.

Hey James, we were there in mid-September. On September 6, 1992, the decomposed body of Christopher McCandless was discovered by moose hunters just outside the northern boundary of Denali National Park.

Into the Wild- My favorite, also life-altering story.
    Lucky YOU!
My Aunt & Uncle owned the big truck stop in Fairbanks at the time. They knew of Chris.
Thank YOU for sharing! It must have been incredible to be there. To be right there must have simply been a once in a lifetime, dream come true.
PS, If you ever decide to kayak the inside passage again, I'd be first to watch another adventure w/ Josh.

Thank you for the kind words, Kerri. It's been a life altering story for me as well. Glad glad it moved you, and that you found our kayaking adventure as well. I love your idea of a Paddle to Seattle 2.

@@PaddleToSeattle Paddle to Seattle was excellent. My favorite Inside Passage doc thus far. Thank you!
I absolutely put visiting that lighthouse on top of my bucket list, and am looking into a similar adventure myself.
      Back to Chris M. Supertramp...
I'm going to paraphrase Thoreau here,
...rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness, ...give me truth.

Too many people died or had to be rescued trying to reach it. Heard this and after reading news articles, realized it wasn't an exaggeration.... It's important to people to visit i guess, but i can only imagine the unprepared people trying to hike here unprepared, with a go pro stick too.. 🙄
