11.1 REACHING BEYOND THE NET
11.1.2 After an attack hit, a player is permitted to pass his/her hand beyond the net, provided that the contact has been made within his/her own playing space.
13.2 FAULTS OF THE ATTACK HIT
13.2.1 A player hits the ball within the playing space of the opposing team.
13.2.3 A player completes an attack-hit using an open-handed finger action or if using finger tips that are not rigid and together.

Just to clarify, this video is not about mistake of the referee, but about perspective of the player. In this situation for the defensive player it usually seems that the ball is completely on his own playing space. Players tend to estimate on where the ball is landing (on his court), but fail to recognize that the ball is still completely or partially in oponents space while it's above the net and can legally change direction after another hit by attacking team.
this is why the opponent should have anticipated a tight set and come to the net to block the ball

Agreed. I watched at .25 playback speed. The hand contact look kind of off but I’m not sure if it violates the rules. It was almost a push with the palm but no tip. Probably clean.
If I was at the net blocking, I would blame myself in this situation :)

Ball contacted above the net, no illegal touch by the attacker, no net violation - I understand the opponent's reaction, but this looks like a legal play. A block would have helped, though 😉

No rule about being over the net either lol..
I don't think it applies here, but there certainly is a rule about contacting the ball over the net when it's not a block attempt.
Rules mentioned by the game commentators are in the description. None of them are violated in my opinion though.
