ɛyɛ nsɛnnahɔ sɛ, ɔmanfo bra na ɛkyerɛ (Clearly depends on the character of the citizens of the nation) - Hudba
This is the real Ghanaian national anthem. Ghana should be proud to let the world hear this version as the official anthem.
THIS SHOULD BE GHANA'S NATIONAL ANTHEM!!!!
The world won’t understand Twi.
@@edema.3418 Does the whole world understand the Russian or Chinese anthems NO! We only need to hear the anthem in the right setting. 🇬🇭
@@LEWISRACING3 Plus, only Ghanaians who speak Twi understand it. It can be translated to others dialects. It used to be played at the end of old Ghanaian television programming.
@@edema.3418 the original was composed and written in Ewe by Ephraim Amu. This is a translation that was done as part of 4 anthems that were considered for Ghana at independence: "Lift High the Flag of Ghana", which was later changed to "God bless our Homeland Ghana" was eventually selected.
I always get goosebumps when I hear our original anthem 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
That harmony is perfect, they sound like a single instrument.
I love Ghana,, all the way from New York America.
this was supposed to be our national anthem
You and who National Athem ?
"God Bless Our Homeland Ghana" is the national anthem of Ghana since 1957. The lyrics are written in English by Michael Kwame Gbordzoe, and the music was composed by Philip Gbeho.
The original Anthem was 'Lift high the flag of Ghana '.❤
❤❤❤
This is one of my favourite Ghanaian songs! Fantastic 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Ephraim Korku Amu was The most patriotic Ghanaian. He has to be celebrated and thought about in Schools. He wrote this is in Ewe and Translated it to Twi too. A great scholar in Ewe and Twi. very prolific composer! He should be referenced as a National Treasure!
Especially today being Independence Day. We have to appreciate the people who devoted much of their lives to make Ghana what it is today. And still look ahead to what we can achieve.
I couldn't agree less
The kids are been taught about him in school
Dr Ephraim Korku AMU, from Peki, Volta Region Ghana, RIP
I love ghana music all the way from Zimbabwe
"Yen Ara Asaase Ni" ("This Is Our Native Homeland") is a patriotic song of Ghana, composed and written by Ephraim Amu in Twi. "God Bless Our Homeland Ghana" is the actual national anthem of Ghana.
I will always love you, my Motherland 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭❤️❤️❤️
This gentleman was nearly 100 years old 🥹

This needs to Ghana national anthem
It is our anthem
it is our anthem
Twi is not the lingua franca of the nation
@@ebenezernobellinaa3018 u're posting yt pic of Jesus. Is twi not the most popular language in Ghana aside the colonial one??
@@kissphamous5451 And is that a guarantee that Twi should be the national language?
This is the Ghana’s national anthem sang in twi
Be proud to be a Ghanaian 🇬🇭
Do Ghanaian politicians really understand this song?
Yes
am not sure
I doubt it
A question no Citizen can answer, so since citizens can't , politicians can't either
You think it's only the politicians? All of us need to understand it.
As a Ghanaian my favourite anthems is Ghana and Tanzania national anthem. Lately as I am following the freedom of Oduduwa and Biafra, I truly love the Oduduwa (Yoruba) national anthem too. Sadly the Igbo one is in English UNFORTUNATELY, I hope they change it to Igbo. Africa must get rid off all english national anthems. It's c.rap in my opinion. Let's pride ourselves of our own language
A lovely song!
The line: Mogya a nananom hwie gu nya de to hɔ ma yɛn (Acquired with the blood our ancestors shed for us) reminds me of the Welsh National Anthem en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hen_Wlad_Fy_Nhadau :
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed.
Her brave warriors, very splendid patriots,
For freedom shed their blood.
I agree it's a lovely song
The most powerful national anthem, the English one we have no is useless
Useless in what way? Have you taken your time to listen to the words of the English anthem?
I love this version
Good job my lady
To the leaders, please remember yɛn ara asaase ni. apɛsɛmenkomenya is drawing us backwards.
I have always preferred this to the English one

Nice one 👍☺️ nice one nice one
But people still disrespect the Ewe people forgetting that Ewes have played a major role in the architecture of Ghana. Philip Gbeho, Ephraim AMU, FKD Goka, Gbedemah and co but the Akyem Mafias wants to take all he glory.
Stop this tribal thing here. Massa we no get time for this praise who u wanna praise n stop bringing different tribes in there .
you people are the first to mention tribes and complain about tribalism make it make sense
Don't forget that it was also an Ewe man who caused the downfall of Ghana and killed Dr. Osagyfou Kwame Nkrumah. The wicked Ewe man Kotoka
Please translate for me In English
