Just wanted to say that I loved everything about this video: production quality, video editing, soundtrack, and overall pace were on point. Thanks for including some shots of where you had to improvise and your solution.
Amazing design, I agree that taking it vertical was the right choice really makes it stand out in the room a lot more. Thought it was really great how you adjusted your design on the fly to suit the different problems you came across 👍
Absolutely stunning work!
Yes! Love it good job! Your baby is lucky!
Amazing video and incredible talent, thank you so much for creating this. Owen loves it!
You’re most welcome!
super detailing,love your work
Turned out amazing ❤️.
This is inspirational! Great work!
Looks awesome - Very beautiful work
Great project and video edit! Look forward to your future builds.
Thank you so much!
This is AWESOME AG! I made an LED neon sign myself for my channel and it's janky to say the least. This vid cleared up a lot of questions I had about cleaning up the soldering/wiring. Your craftsmanship is CLEAN! On top of that, your videography, editing, and post-production are all on point. I know you haven't posted in awhile, but I hope to see new videos up on your channel real soon. Liked and subscribed--came for the LED neon tutorial, stayed for the QUALITY. Cheers man and keep it up!
Congrats man congrats! It was amazing
That's awesome! Id love to have one for my room!
Your videos are fan to watch man, I hope to see more of them very often :)
This video needs more views. Awesome work.
Looks great. Excellent job making the CNC parts interesting to watch. I haven't seen that type of LED before. I'll have to try them.
Thanks Dave. It’s always a challenge trying to make robots seem interesting haha
Nice Job Done bro !!!
It was fun to watch how you made that masterpiece !!!
So awesome! I want on too.
Really awesome! From the design to the video editing. Really talented. Subscribed!
That is beautiful.
Beautiful work 🙌🏼😁
Your editing style is insane. I really enjoyed this video man.
Perfect!
GENIUS!
Those router shots were insanely good, totally loved the camera work. However, I did mind those gaps between the led strips and the wood, also the connector housing/base was little bit rough with all that super glue
Really cool.
best one i saw. very nice work and well detailled design process !
Thank you!
This thing turned out so good!
Thanks man!
Beautiful and thanks for the upload! It amazing to watch and learn! Just subscribed!
master at work
Seriously cool. Super polished and well-shot video, too. Subscribed. :)
Awesome project, great music, and top notch editing!
Thank you!
Really cool build man!
Using my OneFinity CNC right now to do something similar for my wedding. Awesome project man, made me think about it in a totally different way.
Awesome! Congrats on your engagement 👍🏻
AMAZING 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great job 👏🏾
Unsure what’s more impressive, your wood work or video work. Major props man. (Love the silent saw trick🤣😂)
Thanks! 🙏🏻
Wow man. This was so good! Both the project and the video editing! Will be fun to watch this channel blow up!
Thanks for the kind words!
Great film, well shot and edited. Nice narration/writing. The lamp is gorgeous, awesome fit and finish. Mahalo for sharing! ; )
Thank you so much for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome 🚀
Bro, you could be a CZcams legend with this quality. Do more videos. Outstanding, thanks for sharing 👍👏
I’m super humbled. Thank you. I hope to make more videos soon.
Agreed, make more
Fantastic work!!
Thank you!
Awesome editing and craftsmanship. Nice work
Thank you so much 😊
Bro idk how I came across this video, but its top quality. I was surprised to see you had such a low amount of views and subs. Your quality of video is very enjoyable for such a small channel. Keep up the good work dude. Everything was great!
You've got some talent, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much
Dope!
hey man, please keep going your work are huge
ooooooohhh coool i realy like it man
Great project!
Thanks!
awesome video dude, great editing and design as well
Thanks a bunch!
Suppppppppper badass editing on that quiet saw cut
Thanks so much!
Love the lamp! Would really like to know what you know & get to play with your cool “toys.”
Wow!!!
thanks for sharing
Great video man! You really lit it up! From
Lefty 👍🏻
wow, nice work!
Thanks!
Yes. Gotta agree. Great video. Looking to do same kinda sign. Yours really stands out in the crowd. Seen the link for strips. Need help though. New to neon. Other than strip, I guess you need what? Charger? Looked at Amazon. So I got strip idea. Going in blind…..what else is needed. Color will do me good also. Thanks in advance.
This is amazing!!! Is it possible to have a video where you show us how you created the channels in Illustrator?
It's rare that I don't have a cheesy, puny, or just eye roll-ingly comment...but this was so amazing and your VO was so freakin spot on. I can't wait for you to make more and more videos...selfishly haha
Dude I’m flattered! But disappointed that you couldn’t find a good pun lol. I look forward to those 😂
That is cool
Tip for removing hot glue is a bit of metholated sprits, white spirits or acetone but metho or white spirits are best and it will litterally fall off than the excess spirits will evaporate, has saved me sooo many times i cant count anymore!
You’re filming is on point my man! Did you use a flame to re darken that area of the laser engraving of your logo or how does that work?
Amazing tutorial Upscaled
Can you share the width/depth/bit used of/for the channels in the wood? Super cool project!
Nice work! And i mean all round. Great video (kept me watching) great cnc work and nice clean electronics! How do you make sure the led strips fit all the way and you dont end up having open spaces at the end of a letter? Great work man keep it up!
basically the strips can be cut to (in this case) a half inch, so the length of the runs for the letters are made to be rounded to the nearest half inch or so
Beautiful work, thanks. I found yours by hunting for videos to learn to make led neon signs from scratch....that is, my knowledge is as yet minimal. Approximately how long did the project take?
Wow that is amazing and inspiring. What type of wood oil did you use?
Great vid! Just subbed!
You're such an inspiration Andrew. This entire beautiful build and edited video. I crave more of you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You’re so sweet :) I suck at making time for these!
@@AGduzit I will patiently wait for more 🙂
Amazing work. High quality in every piece and detail.
Can you please share the links to the LED strip you used? I see it can be cut in any place
Thanks so much. Just search Amazon for “Neon LED rope” and find one that can be cut every 1/2 inch
I want one
@wobydesign I do to ;)
It can be yours if the price is right
Wonderful job! What font did you use? Thank you
Awesome video! Where does everyone order their Neon led rope from? At least those in the United States.
Great job! That’s gorgeous! What machine do you use for the cutting! Well done
Very Nice .....
Wow
This project is amazing! I love the look and the music in the video! May I ask, How did you design the letters so they fit the led perfectly?
The led strip had cut lines every 1 cm I think, so I was able to cut ONLY the strip just a little shy of the edge, but leave the silicone sleeve the full length of the letter channel. Hope that makes sense!
genial tu vídeo..podrías decirme cómo es emprograma que usas para el diseño de letras
Sweet build, thanks for sharing! I am building something similar, but have issues with getting the lengths of the led strips to be perfect increments. How did you make them fit so perfectly? Trial and error or do you have a measuring tool in your vector program?
Thanks! Mostly trial and error. The most important thing in getting everything to fit was the fact the neon rope could be cut every half inch
Great job! Can I ask what CNC did you used?
coooooool
incredible video! did you make sur that you letter were in 0.5in increment to suit the cut lenght of the led strip ?
Thanks! No, I didn’t. I made sure to leave a little extra silicone sleeve if the led strip wasn’t long enough.
Holy shit that's nice
Hey great video, I would love to know which CNC Cutter are you using, if is possible… Thank you
What a video for a dude with less than a thousand sub !
Thanks a lot!!
My understanding is that you have to cut on specific areas of the light strip. I’m worried that with my project I might not be able to get these cuts to the perfect length because of this limitation. Did you just luck out on the cutting locations to line up perfectly where the ends of the strips were on the letters? If not, what was the trick you did to make it fill the channel all the way?
Been working on something similar for a while but what i can't figure out is how to you put a channel in your text in the design software? Any tips would be very helpful. thanks
I used Adobe Illustrator. I just applied “Outline Stroke” to the text and it automatically created the channels. Had to adjust the settings a bit to get the right fit.
what programs were used to design the light/font ?
Very good end result and video production! The only thing I would correct is the voice volume, it was too low relatively to the music in some cases, or the music was too loud. But again, very cool what you did.
Thanks! I’ll make sure to get my voice loud and clear next time 👍🏻
Awesome job! What CNC did you use to cut the name out and what laser engraver?
X-Carve cnc and Full Spectrum Hobby Laser
Good content!
Thanks!
Nice! What type of wood did you use?
I don't get why your views are so low.. the edit is incredible, all the videos sync with music, your skills are amazing.. I guess we will have to wait 8 years for this to be huge (thanks to youtube..)
Thanks, man! Hopefully one day YT features it!
Loved the video. Such a great idea. The music is far louder than you talking though.
Hey! How did you manage to cnc perfect length of each letter so neon strip was the same length? I have tried to draw vector exact same length as neon strip but there is always some small gap.. :/
It was a little tricky. When cutting the strip, I usually include a little extra strip so it covers the gap, then remove ONLY the overlapping leds inside but keeping the silicone sleeve. Make sense?
i have some similar LEDs but mine are only cuttable to 1 inch. it is such a pain
killing it! great video, great edit. was it a bullet-style connector for power?
Thanks! I used T-tap style connectors since that’s what I had on-hand. Works just as good!
AGduzit sorry, i meant the external plug (that failed and got replaced).
Oh! Those were standard 2.1 x 5.5mm barrel connectors, which I got here:
12 Pack Female DC Power Cable Jack Adapter Connector Plug Led Strip DIY CCTV Camera System www.amazon.com/dp/B071NJBYJJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WxGoFbTAEJCBV
Can you make a video on how to solder??
👍🏻👏
Man this is awesome. Id like to create 1 for the grandkids. Would u mind sharing where u got the flex neon from... subbed
Thank you! I got the neon rope from Amazon. There are a ton of suppliers out there; just be sure to choose one that has trim marks at every 1/2 inch (or 1cm)
@@AGduzit u happen to have a link to the ones u got. If not no worries. Thanks for the info
