    Love your chassis! I have quite a few Club5 accessories myself and find myself tending to keep coming back to get more accessories from them. I love that you kept the original body, I see a lot of folks completely toss the original body and buy something new. I love Element's design style on this truck.

      Thanks Jon! With all the wranglers in rc it was nice to see a old 80's style truck!! Club5 makes excellent parts! Some are a bit pricey but worth it in my book!😁

    Great shows again this weekend. We watched them all but haven't had time to comment. Been hard at work at the landing! Like the fender enclosures. Fit really well with the body on. Looking good!

      @@gerrysoldguyreview sorry buddy, I just opened the window to let fresh air in. It's sunny and 71 degrees!!! This is my kinda weather set under a shade tree a lite breeze. I think that the weight you added to the element will make a big difference in the way it preforms on the course. You should try it again to see how it does!!!

    That's cool,man. You know I'm an Element junkie. Those diffs will slide over stuff easier now. All you need to do now is get some aluminum wheels and slap some Pitbull around it. At this point you might as well anyway. It adds a perfect amount of weight to each corner while keeping rotating mass in check. Use some good foams , especially in the front. That was one of the best things i ever did for mine. Was much more stable and predictable. I still get surprised by what it can do just about every time I run it. I enjoy seeing the noticable difference in performance after I upgrade something and that was one of the better ones. What's funny is that I've got a set of those fender liners with the rock lights already installed, sitting in a box under my desk. Doesn't fit the TW without some trimming.

    • @gerrysoldguyreview
      @gerrysoldguyreview  Před 3 lety

      Sorry bud!! I dont do aluminum wheels way to expensive!! I do have a set of proline hyracs on the way I may try, but with the tires vented and the extra weight it did much better on the course!!😁😁
      Why don't you try trimming the fender liners? Not only do they add weight but they look great!!

    • @shadow7796
      @shadow7796 Před 3 lety +1

      @@gerrysoldguyreview you can get a new set of the Injorra brand aluminum wheels on eBay for 40$ and from everyone I've seen or talked to that run them, they're really good just lower cost. I almost got a set of some aluminum gunmetal grey wheels myself. If you get a few minutes, look on there. I wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction for anything, there's some nice looking wheels on eBay for great prices. The plastic factory wheels cost 42$. Which compound did you go for with the Pro-line?

    • @shadow7796
      @shadow7796 Před 3 lety +1

      I did trim those liners and they do fit now. I wanted to wait till I was sure I was done with the frame and shock towers,ect. I kept having to take 'em off every time I went to change something, so I just left'em off. I'll probably put them back on pretty soon. How come you didn't go ahead and pick up the heavier steering links when you got the high clearance ones?

    • @gerrysoldguyreview
      @gerrysoldguyreview  Před 3 lety

      Come on Shannon, I know you would never steer me wrong😆😆
      I don't do eBay but maybe I will look at Amazon, they usually have tons of injora stuff! I got my tires in the g8 compound.
      Thanks buddy😁😁😁

      That is the only downside to fender liners that I've found is when working on the truck!! Put quite simply I forgot the links for the steering I had them but forgot to click in the cart 🙄🙄🙄 so they are waiting in my cart till I make another order!
