Sneaking into the clubs in Dallas under age in the early 70’s, I got to hear some of the best music ever written, especially from this man...”Fort Worth I Love You”!!

Not intending to cause offence to anyone but . . . Country Music is the white man's reggae, Robbie Robinson on guitar moves just like Bob Marley. Classic! That's why I love country music the passion in the music reminds me of reggae music!

@Dennis Rogers - I have a copy of that show. I've never put it up on CZcams, but I suppose I could. It's off an old VHS tape, but I think it has the FM Stereo Simulcast for the audio.

...so which version was in the movie "Urban Cowboy"??? I grew up as a kid listening to the Johnny Lee version, but I like Michael's version much better simply because he wrote it to begin with.

I like Michael Murpheys version of Cherokee Fiddle much better than Johnny Lee’s version which was used in the movie Urban Cowboy. Michael Murphey is a much better singer than Johnny Lee.
