Gr Yaris and GR Corolla hatches have been winning for a while now. The Corolla being the bigger hatch still pushing 300HP for a 3 cyl is not bad, minus the heat soak. But from what I've been told by a few owners, ignore the heat soak crap and get the car. If you were going to modify your car anyway, the heat soak is easily fixable. Honestly the hatches I hold in high regard are the JCW Mini Cooper S, Ford Focus RS, GR Yaris/Corolla, Honda Fit and probably a little nugget like the Kia Picanto (not a hot hatch just a zippy town cruiser).
@@patant8206 hard agree on the Mini GP. I wish it was offered where I am as well. I'll probably see the GR Yaris/Corolla on the market in in another 4 years or so. The markups will still be crazy though.

Yeah, Ford was pushing near the upper end of power potential with them from the factory. I ended up going with the RS because I wanted the AWD and was in the price range I was looking for
Hey Drew I used to have a CR-Z. It is definitely dogshit slow from factory but somehow still fun…it’s incredibly small and nimble. Sort of like a boring chick who’s a floppy fish in bed, but she’s still petite so you can toss her around. 2 doors, 2 seats, manual option. K-series swap would be the way to go. I never built mine. ✌️
The newer bmw sedans are total sleepers, especially ones with the b58 or the turbo v8. 900 bucks for a downpipe and tune, and you're already making a hundred more than stock
even though the bmw sedans can make serious power and have a m sport trim option, i still think theyre sleepers and not really sports cars. besides for the M5 and M3 of course ps drew i think you should review a bimmer on your channel, maybe a F8x or G8x, i think you might grow interest in one!

I'm a bit biased, but best hothatch, Veloster N, can handle over 400whp on stock internals, HKS sparks and tune is all you need for 300+, the only thing that sucks is that the stock turbo is tiny, and only goes up to 22 psi.

I know it is old and outdated but i love my mazdaspeed 3 so much ans if tou want they can do 450hp and 500+ of torque quite easily i think they are really underated in the car scene because of a bad rep but they are fairly strong for power if you’re not an idiot and do your homework
