This happens bcz when the bottle cap is closed, air cannot escape from anywhere so water can't flow bcz of pressure but when cap is opened air can go inside and water will come out.... 😊😊

I made this for my project, but if i move the bottle water drips, so i have to very carefully lift it from it's cap. Edit: I covered the cardboard with lilac colored pages and made white borders, it's soo good, thankyou for this.

If you squeeze the bottle with the lid closed, then the water will come out. If the lid is not attached, then air can get into it, allowing water to escape the bottle.
Atmosphere pressure applies on water inside the bottle...then only water can flow through the straw...but, if you cover the outer part of straw..and put the cap on, water will stop flowing through the straw...because there will be no atmosphere pressure.
