We have worked at the videos and decided that rather than make live videos, we would produce recorded and edited ones for now. This video is published to meet this week's deadline. It is my hope that we can make better quality videos in the days to come.
The equipment I used for this publication were given to me by the Reformed Fellowship that holds at the University of Ibadan. This is a gathering I minister in when students are in session.

I extend a hearty greeting to all who watch this video and those who are commenting. I noticed that there are essentially two types of comments on the thread here: good and bad. Nothing in between. I thank all those who have left positive messages here. But I want to focus my response to those who are making negative ones:
When I made this video, I was just beginning to try my hands on CZcams video making. Everything I used was amateur. Till now I'm still working on getting better equipment for better production. This is why it has been difficult to do any follow up on this video as I planned.
But since CZcams keeps recommending this video for viewing and I have now close to 3.5k views, I thought I should leave a word for my interlocutors.
If you believe the message that Oyedepo preaches, you are not a Christian. You are heading to a christless eternity.
Believe instead the Gospel.
The gospel teaches that Christ died to save sinners from sin. Christ didn't die to make you and healthy and wealthy. Anything short of this gospel message is heresy.
Believe the gospel and be saved.

Start a ministry and preach correct doctrine and stop the analysis
You need serious help. You're more like an irresponsible preacher. There is no such things you've labelled with Oyedepo. Get a book by bishop Oyedepo titled Jesus christ is all you need.
Obviously you don't have sufficient depth of the scripture hence use are basing your judgement through a book written by someone. What is your view about God's Word in 2nd Corinthians 8:9.
You just need to give your life to Christ genuinely

I am soo thrilled when I see my fellow Africans in the apologetics. This was very maturely presented. Sometime it feels like there is no hope for our African brothers and sisters, and then I see a video like this and thank God that there are many he has reserved for himself who are not afraid to speak the truth instead of fearing men. Soo many of my relatives are still cought in the prosperity and word of faith movement. I thank God for delivering me from it and planting me in a Bible teaching church. I've been especially grieved because the one closest to me considers Oyedepo one of his mentors, and I know he's a false teacher for the same reasons you shared. We're in the US, but he has a strong influence and many followers here also, especially among the Africans in America, and because of his ties to Kenneth Copeland. I've been looking for videos exposing this man's teachings, and for some reason they are hard to find by mature people. I only see comedians or unbelievers calling him names. So I really appreciate this. Please keep it up because people really need to get set free from this man's grip. It's soo dangerous what he preaches.

Any so called Christian, no matter any church denomination you fall into, with no sure testimony of salvation but success, prosperity and fame will only pass away with lust of life. There's a way that seems right to man but the end thereof is the way of death. Seek first the kingdom of God not the richies and fame of life, the rest shall be added. Note, i need to add this to my initial comment, iam not a fan of Bishop Oyedepo in short i personally disagree with him on many areas but to use such a strong and derogatory word as False Prophet is uncalled for, many times some of us that are correcting may be wrong in some area of interpretation. At times when we are authoritative with our words what we indirectly conveying is that we are Infallible, we should try to teach the word in love and in wisdom not to make a categorical statement on people because disagreements on the word.
The authoritative words are deliberate, friend.

How happy I am to see this! I was beginning to wonder whether there were true Christians in Nigeria. A majority of the so called Christians know absolutely nothing of the true gospel that Christ died for our sins. They know these phrases and occasionally use it but they do not understand that we have offended God but Christ in his mercy has come to take away a punishment that we deserve and reconsile us to God. The country is under the control of prosperity gospel and word of faith preachers. I thank God for people like you!! Just recently learnt about the Channel, "The true Christian Faith". First off, go and learnt how to write English properly. Secondly, you say Oyedepo is not in his class. Are we now doing "classism" in the Christian church? Does the fact that Oyedepo is a "big league" man of God mean every message or doctrine he has ever preached was 100% correct? It is because of people like you who don't read Bible but depend solely on what your Pastors say that false doctrines will continue to proliferate in the Nigerian church. People like Oyedepo are just their to capitalise and exploit your ignorance. Personal opinion: Oyedepo was called and he did a lot of exploits but later he derailed and more preoccupied with ego-stroking personal ambitions rather than God's agenda. That's why God has raised people like Daddy Freeze, Sunday Adelaja and this man to tell them the home truth and to sensitize Nigerian Christendom about their errors. What is the essence of documenting the works of Christ (including healing) in scriptures if they are of no importance? What is your interpretation of Mark 16:17-18? Acts 10:38 says Jesus went about doing good, and HEALING ALL THAT WERE OPPRESSED OF THE DEVIL... Peter and the apostles healed the sick (Acts 5:12), Paul also healed the sick (Acts 19:11-12). As a matter of fact, they healed in the name of Jesus (Acts 3:6-9, 9:34). The Bible says whatsoever things were written aforetimes were written for our learning (Romans 15:4)
By the way, I don't think it is right to say people listening to Bishop Oyedepo are heading to a Christ-less eternity. It is clear from scriptures how a man is saved (John 3:16, 5:24, Romans 10:8-10, 13). The Bible says WHOSOEVER shall (genuinely) call upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED. I would rather believe God than any man (Romans 3:4). The problem with the Galatian church was that they were trying to add (especially Circumcision) to the finished work of Christ, same with the Hebrews. There is only one Book that is inerrant, the Bible, and it is because it is inspired (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21). All men teach based on the light they receive. It is therefore presumptuous to say who is heading to a Christ-eternity even if their faith is on the Person and work of Jesus Christ. I would be glad to know who you consider qualified (with scriptural references) to make it to eternity with Christ

The essence of documenting Christ's miracles was to point to the people of Christ's day, mostly Jews, that this man was not ordinary. He is first God and he is the Messiah. He is the one you should believe to have eternal life. Like Moses, God anointed Jesus with signs, to point fingers at him as the one to save the world from sin.
Mark 16 is a pointer to what Christ will do in the life of the Apostles; it is not rubber stamp for all generations. And the disciples did work miracles, abundantly. We do not need miracles today, we have the truth already. What we need is to be able to believe that truth. A truth that David Oyedepo and folks like him do not preach.
I thought Christ said, " he that believes in me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do because I go to my Father"? If Christ wasn't referring to people of today, then there is no need to believe what He says concerning salvation refers to them. I didn't get your reply concerning the other questions I asked.

I don't follow Oyedepo and don't believe his style for whatever reason. I believe in practical Christianity and balanced biblical doctrines. No doubt, Jesus died as sacrifice for our sins, so that coming to Him in repentance we can be saved. Now, Isaiah says by His stripes we're healed. Primarily, Jesus died for our sins, and secondarily we can be healed and receiving good things through our trust in Him. I don't think that verse in Isaiah means something else about the stripes of Jesus. Now, I understand that some preachers emphasize material prosperity more and nothing of spiritual prosperity, which actually should be the focus. It should be spiritual prosperity first. Jesus said, seek first the kingdom of God and other things will be added onto you. When He said all other things would be added, He doesn't mean you force it to happen as we see them do today. In essence the teaching of the Bible should be balanced, not one sided and carnally.

I pity the helpless souls who need help but you've further deepened them into darkness. They only study Malachi 3,but don't study from chapter one, don't have understanding btw the old covenant and the new covenant, they pull the scripture out of context and give it a different meaning which 2nd Peter 3 warned it leads to destruction.

A preacher that is genuinely born again cannot be referred to as a false prophet even though he may not be balanced in his teaching when it comes to sound doctrine. The level of our spiritual insight, depth and gifting in terms of understanding may be different and there is no how all of us who are children of God will see things in scriptures the same way but there is common ground for everyone of us which is OUR SALVATION IN CHRIST. A false prophet is an agent from the pit of hell prepared and sponsored by satan to pollute and infiltrate the body of Christ through deception and manipulation. However, there is warning for us not to use the gospel for our personal interest or to service our personal gains which is the bane of this our generation abusing the gospel. I will advise that before you could have mounted to contend so loudly as you have done, you should have consulted with the Holy Spirit as the Teacher: "For as many as are led by the Spirit they are the sons of God."
