Did you say the power supply is off? And also where is the orange network cable plugged into? The NVR? Or My router? Why only 7 additional cameras if it has 8 POE ports?
Cause he has 1 plug in so another 7 =8 and the orange cable goes to modem/router or a switch if u have 1
Does this allow you to add more cameras to your system if you have maxed out yours channels?
This looks very much like a Dahua PFS3010-8ET-96 switch, can you clarify this please? Was interested in its management options.
They do look similar but the Dahua PFS3010-8ET-96 is 10 port (8+2) and this is a 9 Port + 1 SFP Port. In regards to management this is a "dumb" switch but look at their 24 port AGPS26E24P-AT-240M and 16 port AGPS18E16P-AT-190M for managed options!
How about reviewing their newer Amcrest 4-Port POE+ Switch 4-Ports POE+ 802.3af/at 60W - Model# AMPS4E4P-AT-60? I'm wondering if Port 1 (60W max) is truly capable of powering their Amcrest 4MP PTZ Outdoor POE + IP Camera Speed Dome - Model# IP4M-1053EW all while having other 3 ports supporting 3 other POE cameras.
Love POE systems. Maybe someday we can cover more of their devices

I did not see any mention of surge protection so I do not think it has that feature but it can't hurt contacting them directly to find out!
How is this different than the similar bv-tech model?
Honestly after just glancing at it I doubt there is any difference... they are probably identical boxes with a different "brand name"
Anytime a "Reviewer" Says the supplier sent them the item but any opinion expressed in this video is strictly their own I do not trust. There for it gets the thumbs down, oh a lot must feel the same way as he has more down thumbs then up.

I would disagree that this is the reason for the number of thumbs downs. The main reason is this so called review doesn't really review or describe anything, it just rattles off a description of a device. Wasted 3 minutes.
