I fucking love how Alex left his breaths before the breakdown on the recording. To me, it invokes a sort of... Headbut-a-wall kind of feeling. Like raw aggression. Its great with breakfast.

Nice discussion at the end there. The other day I saw one of the best guitarist on YT (more pop/funk/etc.) struggle to play a simple palm muted 'chug', which to me proves that metal (in this case, but also all other genres) require a specific skillset that needs to be trained. So no I don't think Bob Dylan or Phil Collins could play this stuff as well unless they commit years to it (at a younger age). Just for reference, the 'chugging' is about the only skillset I have on guitar haha.

If you want a good drum cam to watch try Nile's George Kollias Shall Rise Shall be Dead or Aeons of Burning Galaxies for something heavy or Mastodon's Brann Dalior's Drum cam of Ancient Kingdom for a bit of Prog
George Kollias' stuff is great along with his main band. "Kafir" from Nile is a great listen. Also, someone did a drum cover from Nile which wasn't George for the song "The Inevitable Degradation of Flesh Drum Cover." Was a 11/10 drum cover.

There's no chance in hell Clapton can play stuff like this, it's polar opposite from his style. And he's also not a fast player, so even if he practices for awhile, he wouldn't be able to. He'd have to completely change his technique in both hands and play like that for years just to be able to play like this even decently.
