Really informative, learned a lot, thanks! Are these effective calls with Roosevelt elk? I have been using a hoochie mama and can't seem to get the hang of those mouth calls. I can't whistle either if that gives you a clue as to my issue. I would appreciate any advice if you have the time, and thanks again!
Absolutely! I have many friends that successfully use the calls to draw in Rosies! Try my Ignite-Her-Wild external reed cow call. It is easy to use!
Can you have good luck in early September when the rut is just starting by bugling? Like lots of location bugles?
Normally just locate. Use lost calf call and cow calls.
Kristy, what would you suggest to a beginning caller to learn how and when elk call?
Also what practices would you suggest to pick up the diaphragm calls quickly?

What kind of diaphragm did rocky use?
Kristy pay no attention to Fast Lane. Enjoy all the shows your on and regularly have my wife watch them in hopes she will pick up a bow or gun or anything and get her outdoors. Keep up the good work.
