Which grade have u enrolled ur son ? Its good that school was ok with parent being a shadow! Being a parent for both kids had shadow teacher … going ahead the academics becoming overwhelming… so enrolled in special school and nios

You are extremely lucky that the school allows shadow teacher, I believe this type of facilities is only allowed in some schools in limited metro cities such as Delhi, Bombay, kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.
Tier II and Tier III cities has lack of awareness on autism.
Agree with you here also in metropolitan very rarely a one or two small school allow rest want to recommend shadow teachers and mint out money from parents

Hi Ina🙂 thanks for replying to my questions in ur busy schedule. My daughter s 5 yrs old . Nw from 3 months she s gng thru therapy. Nw therapists r advising me join her in lkg along with therapy. Earlier I had already sent her to school til ukg but cud nt continue for 3-4months. So joining her in lkg again is btr or shl I join her to next class.
If she can cope up academically then go for the next class else repeat otherwise it will be very overwhelming study wise for you baby
Viraj ki puri week ke current diet aur suppliments pe zaroor youtube video banaye kynki sab log instagram pe nhi hote hai. CZcams se bht logo ko knowledge milti hai. Bht kuch khane me inn baccho k liye restrictions hoti hai - grains,dairy,starch etc . Kabhi kabhi khud hi samajh nhi aata ki bacche ko kya kya khane me de sakte hai, bacche ki school tiffin options bht Jada limited ho ja rhi hai aur bacche ke weight gain k liye kya khane me de sakte hai usko leke bhi confusion hai. Normal Paediatricians koi restrictions nhi dete but GFCFSF,Nemchek protocol,GAPS diet,ACC protocol, NIDS diet,Dr.Goldberg protocol etc dekhke thoda confusion lag rha hai. Aapne already bht kuch pe research kar chuke ho Viraj k liye issiliye aapki experience janni hai.
Aur ek request hai ki apne bacche k sath therapy/teaching k liye kaun kaun se chize,books,worksheets etc use kiye the ya currently kar ho wo bhi pls ek separate video banake zaroor share karein. Bht help hogi.
Aapki videos, informations bht well researched good quality ki hoti hai aur aise chizo pe Hindi me dusra koi channel abhi tak mujhe available nhi mila. Therapy related uspe demo deke abhi bht channel available hai but aapki content bht hatke hoti hai aur hume bht si nayi zaroori jankari milti hai.

Please suggest if small setup mainstream school with some support (1-1 for half time) can be good for mild ASD kid(he’s verbal but ofcrs has sensory issues and not verbal like ‘normal’ kids)? Getting special school here is really a struggle, also want to ask if 5 hours of school is not overwhelming for their sensory things? My son is 4 years old, he will start his school soon and I am very scared, anxious about it!!

If shadow teacher option is not available and I am sending to mainstream school only hope for me is teachers are supportive but they dont know anything about autism so kindly please let me know what all the things I need to tell them to take care
Honestly then dont send they wont be able to cope up and ur baby will not be able to cope up well in a class of students just with teacher’s assistance. Either find a shadow else u go as a shadow
@@aforautism6808 he is able to start doing writing because of school only mam..thats the only reason I am continuing but there is no change in socialisation ..became aggressive with age..so little confused...sorry to ask again mam..so you suggest without shadow sending to mainstream school is not right decision?

After long time ina…..I m not on Insta so for me it’s long time…..good to know about viraj ….how’s devika? Ina initially I thought why I come to small city from Kerala but know I am very happy .I never send any shadow teacher with son and it helped a lot my son is fully independent he maintains his notebooks his communication skills are improved and he is giving his exams also very well,sometimes he teaches in his classroom….his teachers supported us very well they never allowed shadow teacher ,earlier we were very angry on that we said how he’ll manage all the things.they said you send him we will take care of that after 1 year he is having tremendous changes…..my suggestion is if you can manage stop going with viraj let him self dependent solely,he will do wonders…..I am telling you this with my own experience….on the autism front now my son is having only problem is he is having anger issues….otherwise everything is ok now……..at the age of six viraj is far better than my son when he was six….I saw my son converted into human from animal…..😊
No miti for Viraj he is able to grasp things because I am there else he would be lost in the crowd so I have to shadow him for sometime .. lets see how long it goes.. but reading your story gives me hope that Viraj will also be independent for everything in class soon 🥰❤️

But after reading ur comment I think we should give them a chance for being independently.But the problem is some schools not accept our children and don't give some time to cope up.
@@aroundmyhome9621 don’t put them in high profile school,search for normal school or school which have less kids they will take them and take care of them….because our moto is to socialise them studies are secondary…..first they should learn self dependency then other things…..

Hello Ina, how r u all, hope all r fine, actually aapka supplement wala video dekha tha maine, aur use dekhkar maine mere bete ke liye almond milk shuru kiya hai, mujhe yeh janana hai ki jo fish oil aapne suggest Kiya tha woh doctor see prescribed Kiya tha ya apne aap hi shuru kiya tha, aur abhi bhi continue kar Rahi hai ya band kiya, aur other multivitamin supplements deti ho woh kab Tak Dena ha ? aur multivitamin supplements aur fish oil saath me de sakte hai kya ?

Fish oil maine kabhi babd nai kia khud hi dia tha as its a supplement just like almond milk is .. fish oil dha ka supplement hai jisse brain develop hota skin achi hoti hai log generally b lete hain without autism bas autism mein ye brain and mood ko

How do you manage office work with 2 kids and giving special attention to Viraj? As handling 2 kids looks like a full time job, getting them ready and taking to school , being a shadow teacher , after school works etc .

Hi ina, r u still giving fish oil capsules to viraj or any other brain supplements.. Actually one pediatric Neurologist advised me to give fish oil syrup but it impacted negatively on my 5 yr old daughter.. So want to ask when u started fish oil capsules have u found any behavioural changes in viraj.. I have seen ur vlog on that capdules n i want to give to my daughter as well. . Kindly advice... It has played a very good impact his behavior has improved , more focused and speech was also getting clearer it has been now 4 years i have been giving the fish oil.. nordic naturals fish oil for kids is the only brand i trust none other ..
What was the negative impact?
Even I noticed after giving fish oil my daughter’s functional speech increased but I noticed there is also increased hyperactivity

Hai Ina I have a question that when Viraaj doesn't listen to teacher's instruction how do you intervene. Like you repeat the instruction verbally or just quietly help him to follow. Pls tell.
I ask him to listen to Mam and then ask tge teacher to repeat again its basically about bringing his focus to the teacher

Earlier he used to shout and scratch but that has gone since understanding started coming and mellowed down .. all happened when he turned 5.2

For viraj i have skipped french being taught to him in the class so if you ask the school they will provide you with realistic details of what and how much can be skipped

School outdoor ya bahar walk pe lejati hu hab viraj bahut pareshan hojata hai .. isse pehle ki meltdown trigger ho main use distract kardeti hu uske kisi aur kam mein jo use theek lage karna.. as a parent I can figure out when he will get cranky and lsh out so I try to avoid such situations well in advance from happening

Hi yes dear both managing somehow . My working hours are 5:30 to 3:30 in night as my clients are US based

My wife also goes as a shadow teacher but we are facing challenges with school.
Teachers are not supporting to give instructions to my son, they are thinking that since mother is coming with him she is responsible for every action.
We have highlighted the same to principal yesterday and she has now agreed to keep mother out of class room and only to be called upon when needed.
I'm not sure how it will go..but just wanted to ask you that are you aware of any specific rights for CWSN kids from CBSE.

If I be very honest with you then never complain to any school about how they handle things if as a parent they allowed you now its an opportunity lost that I could read from your message. School never likes that you complain or bring any such thing to their notice in a manner that they may not like. Its a favour that they do to you for letting you inside their premises which maximum schools dont allow. Principal always are on teachers side and parents usually think that they take stands from parents side. Now gradually your wife will be told to leave the premises and will be told either they can handle the child or they will say they can only allow a trained shadow . I have been sustaining in Viraj’s school only at one condition that I will work with Viraj and not intervene in what and how teachers and school works because they dont think from the perspective of your child but to the pther 20-30 kids in the class more as they are only sitting in the guidance of a teacher in absence of a parent. I could create a bond with the teachers and made a request sometimes I get a response from them sometime I don’t but I never highlight things to higher management because a teacher also can tell numerous things to the principal of the challenges she might be facing having a parent and a special needs child in the class. If my honest answer has sounded insensitive I apologise but I wanted to be absolutely honest in giving you an answer of what I could understand from your point of view. Your wife needs to just focus on the child she can make a request once or twice to the teacher to give your child instructions but I have seen teachers are highly occupied in the classroom and its difficult for them to spare time for a special needs child because 1. It takes times for our children to respond to a stranger (teacher) specially they have to keep standing and asking to repeat anything after them and follow them..2. There could have been instances where other children may hve gotten distracted because the teacher was paying attention to only one which again becomes issue for them because other kids can very well go back home tell what happened in the class and then other parents can approach the school with their concerns and again Principal keeps in mind the teacher and other kids more because for us its out child only but for them its the whole class to consider. Teachers have to listen from both ends and same is with the principal . I am not taking sides of anyone but I am telling you what I see every single day. My suggestion would be please go back request to the principal that you will not intervene in anything and as a parent let you inside the class room and take care of the child . Your wife can very well make your son cope up with other kids and make him follow everything in a matter of time but mainly it will be your wife’s work not teachers . Off track some females dont gel along with other females easily so think that ways too .. sorry for such a long response but thats something coming out from a mom’s perspective

to sit outside the class. Though I requested many times to allow me inside. I learnt in these days to be grateful to teachers and staff they also want to help but with so much packed schedule and so many students they are helpless. Now my class teacher told me to come inside when it's time to copy from board and help him write after noticing his notebook with homeworks done. Be patient and grateful as atleast you are allowed to be there. All the best 👍
Ina please reply me , mn apny bachy ko school admission k liye ly kr gye r mny unhe btaya hai k ye speech delayed hai. Mera beta 3.8 years age hai oral learning m sb ata recognize b krta sb but he isn't social and doesn't communicate well with others , they asked me to provide a certification from therapist is which it's written that he isn't autistic. Jitna mujhe samajh main aa raha hain ki ap bol rahe ho jumping running karta hain. Matlab hyperactivity ka issue hain. Ap roj ot karaiye ghar pe taki uska energy loss ho jaye. You can use weighted jacket , cuff etc. Online koi ot plan leke follow kar sakte hain. Roj OT, oromotor, manding karwaiye. Koi bhi cheez dene k pehle try kijiye ki at least uska first letter bole. Like biscuit chahaiye to bi bole. Thoda wait karaiye, rone dijiye jarur bolega. Vowel sound aa, ee, uu, oo practice karwaiye. Kuch supplement add kar sakte hain jaise fish oil, multivitamin. Oil massage dijiye. Mera bete bhi same situation main hain. Ye sab main try kar rahi hun. Pray karti hun hum sab parent ka prayer pura ho jaye
