    If I was Nike or Adidas or any other brand I would've hired Josh already to help develop a boot. His experience and expertise on boots would really benefit a company since he knows what works and what doesn't 💯

    2 questions. Firstly how much space should there be at the front of your foot when wearing football boots (actual measurement) Secondly, they obviously feel tight but how long does it usually take to get the superflys V to get somewhat comfortable? Thanks

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou
      @Soccerreviewsforyou  Před 6 lety

      Personally I leave no space at all. There's no specific measurement to give because depending on the shape of your foot and the shape of the cleats, the space will always vary. Some boots will simply fit you better than others. I will say that you never have a lot of space. anymore than half a thumbs width is too much in my opinion, but at the same time you have to feel comfortable with how the cleats fit, so using your own judgement based on how they feel is key. Superflys fit tight new or broken in. If you don't find that comfortable, they probably aren't for you.

    How about differences between breaking-in period in leather football shoes, and synthetic material football shoes?

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou
      @Soccerreviewsforyou  Před 7 lety +1

      It depends more on the specific shoe rather than just the type of material. Breaking in a boot, like I talk about in the video, is something that you have to feel out. Everyone is going to feel and experience something different. Just because the process went a certain way for me, that doesn't mean you'll have the same experience.

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou
      @Soccerreviewsforyou  Před 7 lety +1

      Surely there's a reason why you're getting a blister in that spot. Does anything feel uncomfortable about the fit of the shoe? Are they the right size? This is something that you more or less have to diagnose on your own. Only you know how they feel on your feet.

    • @Ralax_
      @Ralax_ Před 7 lety

      i know so i bought the right size and they actually feel very comfortabe except the little bulge in the exact spot where i get my blister but i think there is no shoe without this bulge so i think it should fit well (espacially because the left foot fits in perfectly).

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou
      @Soccerreviewsforyou  Před 7 lety +2

      Foot cramping is very common when breaking in new boots. It can caused by multiple different things. Usually it's a just a matter of your feet not being used to the way the shoes fit, in which case it will usually stop after a few wears. If you tie your boots too tight or if the boots are just too tight in general, that van also cause foot cramping. Like I said in the video, it's really a matter of diagnosing what feels good and bad about the shoe on your own, and making adjustments accordingly.

At first I know I wore them too much and I got a blister from that, but afterwards I’ve just worn them in regular sessions and they feel fine. I’m not too sure if I still need to break in them if just get a larger/ a different pair because I still feel a few points of discomfort in the front- right big toe and both left and right second biggest toe. Also I’m not sure if I need to go bigger because I feel as if I would slip inside my cleat if i did. I usually wear Nike 13s but got a 12 with this one to try and prevent the slipping and get a better grip with the shoe. Help me out and let me know what I should do. Thanks in advance

      Do they feel too small in length. Seems weird that you would be able to go from a 13 to a 12 unless the boots you were wearing were too big in the first place?

      Soccer Reviews For You I might be in between. I’ll try to go for a 12 1/2 next time and my feet barely touch the end of the cleats when I stand up in them. Also thinking about going to for a wide clear instead of a narrow one like mercurial

      Ideally those are characteristics that you would want from any shoe. That's not really specific enough to narrow anything down.

    Hey Josh, so yesterday I first tested out my new vigor 1s, and I personally like tying my shoes really tight. When I did so on the vigors the sock thing folded in on itself, and while I did not really feel it, should I be concerned about the material and if I am tying them too tight, it did not feel like I was.

    • @Soccerreviewsforyou
      @Soccerreviewsforyou  Před 7 lety +1

      Are they the right size? That generally only happens when the boots are too big.

    • @QriousIgloos
      @QriousIgloos Před 7 lety

      Soccer Reviews For You so that's interesting, I am not comfortable saying yes as of yet. But, they are the same size as my evopower ones which fit properly.

    • @QriousIgloos
      @QriousIgloos Před 7 lety

      Well darn. It appears as though, after just putting them on and wearing them for a bit, my left is absolutely perfect but the right shoe is a bit big. I wonder if I should return them and go a size down? I feel like a full size down may be too small but that would be my only option (going from 14 to 13). Damn

    hey josh, great vid. Can you do a comparison video of all the low end training balls on the market from main brands? My team train with adidas tango roasario as they seem to be the only balls with decent weight that i've tried. So would be interested to know your thoughts on low end balls as you have probably tried them all. The step up from training ball to match ball seems to be quite large in my opinion - in terms of feel and quality.
