I absolutely love the field gun. It's so incredibly satisfying. The sound, the animation, the tension that slow reload creates when some sniper already has you lined up, but then you direct hit him and just start cackling 😁
Nice man, I love the field gun too. Often use it as artillery from the previous sector etc, my bro can spot and correct my rounds, its hilarious ;D If you defend on Monte Grappa, the first field gun can stop alot of tanks and people on the approach to the church. Even if you cant see them, just use the map and lob the rounds home :)
I wish they had large mortar placements too, not just the small ones you get in your loadout. That way you could get closer shots but it’s be harder to be as accurate. Still though, hands down one of the greatest games out there.
Its very much alive on pc, there are more than 20ish full servers which are not dice official and are protected From hackers, u must not join official servers cause there is no admin and hackers are everywhere, on console I dont know

Love the 360 degree aiming circle you have with this thing. And then came BFV with those badly positioned PAK guns 😢.
While games are nice, getting a chance to operate a real live firing French 75 and Krupp 77 in full kit with full crew. No game will ever top that.

You can find a full server if your lucky enough problem is tho about half or more of the server will be cheating
