New Disneyland Paris Parade: Can It Top Dream And Shine Brighter? | DISNEYLAND PARIS VLOG! | Day 1

- Join us in this Disneyland Paris vlog where we see the new A Million Splashes of Colour Parade for the very first time! See what our reaction is and how this new parade compares to Dream and Shine Brighter!
We also get to experience the brand new Disneyland Paris drone show: The Electrical Sky Parade for the first time!
We start the day with Extra Magic Hours where Disneyland Paris hotel guests can enter the park 1 hour early and get to ride lots of rides with much shorter queue times!
Peter finds a great, cheap souvenir you can take home with you, find out what it is!
We go and see the Lion King show, Rhythm of the Pride Lands which always is impressive!
We pop over to Walt Disney Studios Park and get a glimpse at all the construction walls that currently dominate this park! However there is still lots you can do in this park! We ride Ratatouille, now showing in 2D, to see if the ride feels different now it is no longer in 3D!
We also have lunch at Stark Factory in Avengers Campus where I try the vegan pasta.
Peter and myself take another ride on Autopia and almost have a tiff over Peter's driving!

Loving this vlog, can't believe how busy it was on a random Thursday! And wow, the walls in Studios park were even more than I was expecting! Million of splashes of colour looked lovely but i agree - it cant beat Dream and shine brighter but that would be a tough act to follow anyway. Can't wait to see more 😊
Thank you so much! I was so surprised to! Especially in a quiet time of year! I think DLP is busier than ever! Definitely way more walls than I was anticipating (especially in Disneyland Park too!). It will be interesting to see the transformation after everything is completed!
Dream and Shine Brighter was just the best right!?! You are so right it is a tough act to follow and I did enjoy this and the song is actually super catchy! The more I watched it the more I enjoyed. But I think DASB will always be my favourite!

That was such a fun vlog. I loved a million splashes of colour and found the music really catchy. The drones we just saw from our hotel room but I didn’t like the music so was nice to see it without it ha ha. Looking forward to the next one, this is such a fun series I have to say. Great work!!

Less than 3 weeks until we are there!!! Thank you for this cheery blog as always. I’m glad you loved the drones show. I’m a bit miffed that it will still be Dreams fireworks when we go and we’ll just miss Illuminations which I love! What do you think about Dreams? We’ve never seen it. X
Yes! It is so awesome your trip is so close now! I do love that they are using more drones and each show the technology advances!
When Dreams first came out I absolutely loved it! But I think now it doesn't have many fireworks so it's not as big a spectacle as it could be. I am not a massive fan of Illuminations (there are parts I love but I always think a good fireworks show makes me cry and this show doesn't haha!). But I would love for DLP to have a new fireworks show! We've have Dreams and Illuminations switch back and forth for over 10 years now so I think it would be amazing to see a totally fresh show!
Million splashes of colour is ok but dont think nothing with be able to replace Dream and shine brighter
Yes! Dream and Shine Brighter was just so incredible that I don't think anything can top it! A Million Splashes of Colour is fun but nothing can beat DASB!

Question Sophie: is it worth scheduling the fireworks and parade viewing or do you think this time of year you can get good viewing without?
I love that you have all the best questions! Another awesome one! For A Million Splashes of Colour you will easily be able to get a spot even if you turn up 10 minutes before (I always recommend getting a spot in front of one of the stages in the castle hub for the best view!). With Stars on Parade I would pick a spot at least 30 minutes in advance to get a good spot. It runs from next to its a small world, past the castle, up Main Street and then around central plaza so lots of spaces! For the fireworks people do start queuing around 1-2 hours before for the prime spots. I would say it is definitely worth turning up at least 1 hour before to get a good view. However there is now the option to purchase a spot for the fireworks. This costs €19 per person and you are right in front of the castle! You also don't have to turn up until much closer to the fireworks. You can also do this for Stars on Parade but I think where the parade route is long that you could most likely get a good spot if you turned up 30 minutes early without paying!

The Disneyland Paris fireworks are always when the park closes, so at this time of year that is 11pm. The Electrical Sky Parade drone show will start at 10.50pm and the fireworks are right afterwards!
Thank you for the tips, had a fantastic visit. Missed the Stars on Parade show due to rain out so glad we didn't reserve as it was non-refundable even for rain.

Wish was a terrible film! The songs were atrocious!
