    Omg I have the same problem at 3:21! My nose seems to be turning slightly, since my rhinoplasty 10 years ago. This makes my nose look different from left and right profile as well. One side looks downturned while the other side looks defined and upturned. What is the term for those things? I need to see this guy!

      Sloane, great question. When injecting the filler into the nasal tip the skin lifts and improves the appearance of the nasal tip. Check out our website for more info on non-surgical rhinoplasty. www.yourfaceinourhands.com/menu-of-services/treatment-packages/nose/

    Adding filler to the tip would compromise blood supply correct? Just curious as I was always under the impression the fillers are best used on the hump than the tip for fear of necrosis.

    • @DavidMabrieMD
      @DavidMabrieMD  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi neuroticgypsy, like in any cosmetic procedure, nonsurgical rhinoplasty is not risk-free. After treatment it is important to watch for signs of vascular compromise, paleness of the skin, increasing pain, or redness and dissolve the filler with a dissolvent called Hylenex.

      Hi Angelic, Nonsurgical rhinoplasty using a hyaluronic acid filler such as Restylane can last up to 12 months or even longer with maintenance treatments at 6 months and follow-up appointments scheduled at approximately 9 to 12 months.
      Restylane is a firm, thinner gel that enables the injector to sculpt and shape nasal skin more effectively than thicker fillers.

    • @DavidMabrieMD
      @DavidMabrieMD  Před 3 lety

      Hi Cal Dean, Roe,
      For nonsurgical rhinoplasty we prefer to use a hyaluronic acid filler called Restylane, which can last up to 12 months or even longer with maintenance treatments at 6 months and follow-up appointments scheduled at approximately 9 to 12 months.
      There are permanent filler options, such as silicone, Bellafill, or autologous fat injections (using the patient’s own fat). But we don't recommend and offer them.
      Like any medical procedure, filler injections have potential risks and side effects. If you do not like the results or if there are any issues what-so-ever, you cannot dissolve permanent filler to remove it.
      We hope this is helpful. Check out our website for more info: www.yourfaceinourhands.com

      Hi Neha Shaikh, thank you so much for watching our video.
      I use a hyaluronic acid filler called Restylane for non-surgical Rhinoplasty. It generally stays in your body for up to 12 months. We recommend a touch up appointment after the first treatment at 6 months. The results last longer with each injection as collagen production is stimulated and the nose is such a sensitive and important component of the nose I choose to use reversible fillers.
      I prefer reversible filler and here is why: If you do not like the results or if there are any issues what-so-ever, you cannot dissolve the permanent dermal filler to remove it.
      Make sure to find a doctor who specializes in non-surgical rhinoplasty, as this is an anatomically challenging area and requires specialized skill and finesse. Make sure that the doctor you choose has more than 5 years experience administering injectable fillers and has a comprehensive knowledge of facial anatomy.
      I hope this is helpful.
