    Very informative. I attend Rememberance Day Services there due to my father and uncle served in WWII in the Navy. Always wondered about the rest of the building and what went on there other than drilling.

    Cool! Chick Corea! (band)
    I started out at HMCS Donnacona back when it was in a huge hockey arena right in downtown Montreal. Chippawa was a long way away so we only saw your shipmates while sailing.
    p,s, You guys must have to do serious flood work.

    Hi, is there any positions for full-time naval reserve, for example if I apply for naval warfare officer, do I get a chance to have a full-time job? thanks for the informative and up to date videos by the way.

      Yes, there are full-time positions available with the Naval Reserve on a contract basis. However, everyone starts out part-time. Once you are fully qualified in your occupation you can apply for available full-time contracts up to 3 years in duration.

    Hi! I was wondering if it was possible, say after a few years serving in the Naval Reserve to transfer Regular Force?

    As someone who works full time and knows Sask allows 60 days of leave for thr Reserves annually, what positions would I qualify for in the Naval Reserves? Would I be limited for options when it comes to training?

    • @PrairieSailor
      @PrairieSailor  Před rokem +1

      You would be able to do most occupations! We train on evenings and weekends from Sep - May. Full time training courses during the summer months are mostly under 60 days except for the most demanding occupations such as Naval Warfare Officer.
