GEMA'TARI SHOWCASE 2020

We all know that many people, including us performers are affected by the Covid-19 situation. Shows, performances are being cancelled due to the limitations and restrictions in the number of gatherings. We didn’t plan to have a production at first but we thought that we should allow our group, Permata Seni Budaya, to be seen and to be recognised in the Malay Cultural Dance industry in Singapore. Then, it triggered the idea of “Gema Tari”, which brings us back to the old classical folk dance, one of the basics which was first danced by Sriwana. Also, we will be performing our group’s very own repertoire. Unfortunately, our performance is not live but with the support of the government and NAC group, we managed to put together this whole digital production for the very first time. We hope for the support and encouragement of everyone to watch our productions
