- My first try using a punch needle didn't go quite like I'd expected, but it was still a fun craft to play around with! Have you tried punch needling before? I'd love to hear about your experience!

Just a couple of things if you punch between the threads in the weave of the cloth it is much easier, and the loop side is suppose to be the front of the project. The different lengths of loops is so you can conture the loops . As to using multiple strands of yarn it works best if they are twisted together as one strand. You can also use the shears to cut/sculpt the loop yarn. Many of us do sculpt the loops finish the back with fusable interfacing to make sure the yarn does not pull out. Lastly there are smaller gauge needles for using thinner yarn/threads. Hope these help.
These are great tips! Thanks for sharing.
I just got one,but haven't worked up the courage to try it yet. Good job on your first project!
I bought the tools for punch embroidery but haven’t started yet. It has been several years for me too!🤣 I think it turned out cute! Your crochet tops are very pretty! Thank you for sharing!💕
Why is it so much easier to want to try and to buy the materials to try a new craft but so much harder to actually get around to trying it? 😭😂 Thank you for the compliment on the crochet tops! If you are interested in making either of them, I used the same process that I showed in this tutorial (czcams.com/video/BZyzFs3lkls/video.html) to make the orange tank top, and then for the multicolor top, I'm currently filming the tutorial and hope to post it in a few weeks.
This is pretty cool thank you for sharing. It's always fun to try different crafts
It really is! Thanks for watching.
Very interesting. I've got to get one.
It was definitely a unique craft to try, and it's great because it's one of those hobbies that isn't super expensive to get into.
Is it a crochet shirt what you are wearing? Do you have a pattern for it? I love it :o. And btw do you have a revelry account? I would like to follow you
Thank you! In the beginning of the video, I'm wearing a multicolored striped Tunisian crochet top that I made. I'm actually filming the tutorial for that top right now and plan to post it in a few weeks. Then later in the video I'm wearing an orange tank top that I crocheted using the process shown in this tutorial - czcams.com/video/BZyzFs3lkls/video.html
I don't have a ravelry account, I found it too difficult to use and never really got into it 😄
@@CraftersAutonomous I see, thank you for the information. I understand about the Revelry account, maybe one day and if you do let us know. :)
@@janniagonzalez5459 For sure, if I ever change my mind I'd add it to the links in the video description!
