This was the most concise video ever! I wish I saw this as my launching point before jumping through article and artcle. This was the best summary of everything I learned the long way!
My periods have always been irregular. Always. But I got pregnant the first try with my first child and when we weren’t quite trying with my second. I used ovulation tests to determine when I was ovulating. Irregular periods certainly don’t always indicate some underlying issue with your body or fertility. It’s just how some bodies work.

@@martinamnm i had watched a video from almost a year ago on TTC, but she has a more recent video on supplements. I honestly learned so much on how my cycle worked and how to boost things and help my PCOS at the same time. So go look through those and I'm sure you will find help. I have a history of multiple miscarriages. I have also a wonderful physician support that I clear everything through as well.

Hello Dr. I have PCOS history and my doctor recommended follicular study as I and my husband have been trying for quite some time. Two of my follicles both about 20 mm ruptured on day 14 (ovulation day) we ensured that we had sex before and after ovulation. I had light cramps on 5 and 6 DPO. But no spotting. My gyno suggested to wait till I miss my period. I have been waiting.. and it gets a bit frustrating about what will happen. The wait is truly killing. Today is 8 DPO. Is there anything I can do during this wait to ensure things go right. Thanks
Covered cycle days 10-15 and then CD 18 but Ovusense confirmed ovulation for CD 17 two -three days later than usual. Hoping BD on CD 15 was enough.🤞🏽

Hi Dr Crawford what should I do about getting EWCM days before peak lh and ovulation. For example I got EWCM Cycle day 6 and 7. Peak lh test @ noon cycle day 11 expected ovulation late cycle day 11 or 12. My EWCM tends to not line up with my ovulation day or fertile window.
Progesterone also helps many woman get pregnant and then help them maintain a healthy pregnancy espicially if they have miscarried before ...

Yes! You can use them - it may get frustrating, but I would start around cycle day 10 and see what your body does! You will ovulate before (about 2 weeks before) your first period off the pill

I have question regarding about PCOS. Does PCOS have level ? From mild to severe? I get regular period monthly but i found out in my ultrasound that i have few small eggs in my ovary thats why my doctor told me i have PCOS . I had 6 miscarriage and 1 ectopic. I hardly conceive naturally but throughout my 7 pregnancy 3 is naturally conceived and 4 IUI. I have no baby yet😢 and your video is a perfect timing because we’re trying to get pregnant again after a year for resting from ectopic pregnancy. Hopefully i can conceive again naturally within 3 months before starting IUI again.

Thanks for the info on OPKs and to test in AM, I learned something new! I used them before my first pregnancy and learned that I have a shorter luteal phase (10-11 days) so the 14 day calculation that my app was doing wasn't quite correct. Got pregnant the first month I used the OPKs, maybe just luck..

I didn't understand anything! Minus 14 days, 2 weeks after the period, ovulating...too confusing. Can someone answer why my periods late and then I can't figure my ovulation period at all! The doctors say it's fine but why it doesn't work?
What are your thoughts on "fertility lubricants" i.e. Preseed? Do you think it helps with couples TTC?
Great question! They do NOT improve fertility. But if a couple need lubricant for comfortable intercourse - then these fertility lubes are the best option on the market.

We’ve been trying for over eight months and nothing, just this month. Something strange really happened while I was on vacation. I started feeling very light cramping, almost like poking of my ovaries, together with bloating, constipation and other symptoms. My period Was a day late, and the second day of my period, I was only spotting the entire day, which was really rare, today is technically the third day of my period, and it came really strange in the form of a long gooey mucus with some blood. Slowly I started seeing more and more blood, but not the usual flow. I am really confused because all my symptoms seem like it was implantation cramps. Was I becoming pregnant and then it didn’t hold or what’s going on? 😰😩😭

No thats not normal. A cycle longer than 35 days is not considered normal

No something is obviously obstructed maybe the tubes. It needs to be a red abundant flow lasting between 3 to 5 days. Not everything is coming out in ur period. All othe blood needs to come out because otherwise is will stay stuck there and obstruct the passage for sperm.

I got an HSG procedure done to make sure nothing was blocked!
I'm not sure why, but based on my bbt temps and on my opk's I get a positive opk cd 13 and temp shows I ovulate cd 15. Everything else about my cycle is considered 'average/normal'. I'm thinking it may be because I'm ovulating very late at night on cd 14? Just sharing this because it is a little different than how I hear opk behavior described.

Nature isn’t perfect so your ovulation window fluctuates. I would assume the sooner date and baby dance on cd 12 and maybe 14.
Everyone is different. Listen to the signs, not a calendar. Your temp rising is an indication of ovulation, so go based on that rather than the calendar.

We have same cycle length and ovulation occurs 14 days before the next period so CD 10. She explained this in another video that I watched. The fertile window starts 5 days prior on CD 5. I hope this helps.

Does ovulating really late affect chances of conception? I have long irregular cycles , I’ve been tested for everything and we can’t find what’s wrong but possibly it’s very mild pcod ( I am thin, never had acne, no excess hair , no cysts one ovaries , A1C normal, testosterone normal, fsh normal, amh good etc) but regardless I ovulate very late like anywhere from day 30-40,
Can I still get pregnant with this? I’ll add I do have a son but I conceived him on a cycle I ovulated day 15 ( which rarely happens ever ) . So I’m wondering if all the cycles I’m trying with late ovulation is there even a chance ?
You are right - these late ovulation cycles have a much lower chance of pregnancy (and it is hard to capture). This sounds like pretty classic "thin" PCOS. I explain more here:czcams.com/video/As4V7KyErZw/video.html

it can - subtle ovulation disorders reveal themselves in varying cycle lengths - I call this "irregularly regular" because you don't skip months, but it is not predictable.

If I see my period 23 an other month is the 10 is very difficult for me 😢
You mentioned that you should use an OPK between 10am and 2pm, does this still apply for someone that might not have a typical sleep schedule ei working shift work and therefore sleeping later or working overnight and sleeping during the day?
This is a great questions and we don't know for sure - depends if you flip or stay 100% on nights. If you slip I recommend taking later in the afternoon (2-4 pm) or when you wake up to go to work.

This is normal! I would say 26 (average) - 14 = 12 (that should be your estimated day. And day #1 is the first day of full flow.
