I have been a Yardbird fan since I was a kid. He’s a very underrated singer from that era.
Thank you.
Keith was a good singer with his Brian Jones hairstyle. Sad ending for him but he is well remembered !
Thanks for mentioning Jake Holmes. I saw him at the Bitter End but never thought I'd ever hear of him again. He made a fortune as a jingle writer(Be, all that you can be(U.S. Army) and BE A PEPPER( Dr Pepper)
Great voice too!
A great front man and musician!
What a fantastic video have a wonderful day also last night was my friends birthday also my birthday ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Happy Birthday! 🥳 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Armageddon was and is an incredible creative rock masterpiece
I wish they could have had another
I still have this album in regular rotation on my playlist
It was styled unlike music from the era
It's nice that somebody put some of his lyrics from Armageddon's Silver Tightrope on his headstone.
Always loved their progressive, psychedelic phase, which received a lot of airplay.
Fantastic episode, I knew little about the Yardbirds but now I’m motivated to check out more. I loved Renaissance. You are so appreciated! Can I make a couple of future video suggestions? Karen Carpenter, and Rick James. 🤗
Thank you for your support as always and great suggestions 😁👍 I also hope you enjoyed the vid on Les 🥰
@@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yv it was WONDERFUL! I really appreciated it, so many things I didn’t know and photos I hadn’t seen. I wish he hadn’t passed so young but he certainly lived his life and left an indelible imprint. I’ve been listening to all the songs l loved as a kid, these videos are reminding me of very happy days. It makes the day much sunnier. Thank you!🤗
@@DeidreL9 Oh I'm so happy thank you! 🥰
The yardbirds were the most influencel grup of their time especially with the greatest guitarist of all time, the brilliant Jeff Beck who made Hendrix ok like a beginner.
Thank you for this well-researched video
So glad you enjoyed it! 🥰 Thank you for watching 😁
About time Keith Relph had some acknowledgement. Been a Yardbirds fan since I was 18 in 1981, as a guitarist they've influenced me in every band ive played in , even the haircut at that time.Like Brian Jones he had asthma though both played great harmonica. I read in the Yardbirds book that was released around '84 that he had a collapsed lung, which is even more amazing if true.
Its bloody sad it was..🙏🏻 rest easy mate. The yard birds were way cooler than Zeppelin.
How extraordinary. Death by electric guitar...not from his medical problems.
People theorise that his medical conditions led to him not being able to survive the electrocution
There is a song called "Silver Tightrope" on the Armageddon LP shown here. It is simply an amazing piece of music. I recommend you try it on CZcams or wherever you stream your music. The words on his headstone are from this song, I think.
You're right about the headstone
Greatest musician in history
It was a cement floor.
✌️🤠💥🌟🌀👍
Must of smoked a lot to have emphysema at such a young age.
Man you make some excellent videos but you are an awful narrator and you need to research the proper pronunciation of people’s names.
Make your own video then. He made a fantastic and informative video
