Listen to the melodies of Baroque and Classical music on 30 November at 7.30pm. The Czech Youth Philharmonic’s association with Giovanni Antonini proved so successful last season that a new concert schedule was created. Together they will perform Haydn’s Symphony No. 85 and Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto. In the second half of the concert, the Czech Philharmonic will perform a suite from Gluck's ballet Don Juan and Symphony No. 103 called "Drumroll” by Haydn.
,,Vivaldi was a superstar in his lifetime, and his violin concerto Grosso Mogul, which I will be playing, was the rock’n’roll of its time. I look forward to rocking it for you, the dear audience, at the concert!” says the soloist of the evening Josef Špaček.
