I love the reaction, just a heads up Geoff uses only chest and one subharmonic note in this, there is no firebreathing in this cover at all which is absolutely crazy

One of my fave songs from my kid's childhood. We had to rewind the vcr a few times because one listen wasn't enough. Geoff did a great job.

I think every singer at Disney has to go through Barbershop training, LOL! I had a friend who worked at Disneyland, but studied at Disneyworld...in Orlando...had some interesting people in the class with him but I promised not to tell. (And I think he watches this channel to, so, sorry...I probably shouldn’t have brought it up. But that may be the reason some of VP’s songs, like “Peppermint Winter” have a Barbershop feel.

It didn't look like anyone mentioned the name of King Louis's (the monkey-king's) song. It's called "I Wanna Be Like You." The original guy who sung the song for the movie was Louis Prima, a trumpeter who wrote music for the old jazz, swing, and blues scene.

myfantasia1 If you say so. I’ve not noticed more than a strand or two in Geoff’s, Tim has a big ol’ streak. They both seem a bit young for it to be honest, but I guess stress, even fun and good stress can play a contributing factor, and they’re busy little Bs (chest and sub harmonic).
I think bass singers are less common in popular music because true basses like Geoff are extremely rare. You can train higher registers almost endlessly, but you can only train bass so much before you reach physical limits.

A fabulous vocal group you should react to is Anthem Lights, if you don’t know them already. They aren’t truly acapella, because they use accompaniment in place of a beatboxer, though they do occasionally do four-part acapella arrangements. They have been around for quite awhile and they have some of the most angelic voices I’ve ever heard. Each of them also put out solo music. If you want a place to start, I would recommend the ‘Class of 2018’ medley or ‘The Greatest Showman Medley’ as both of those showcase each of their voices and ranges. There are almost zero reaction videos out there for them and that needs to change.

I did the bass clarinet until we got a contrabass clarinet so whenever I had the call for the real bass I took advantage of it. Are you sure the title should be the Bare Necessities and not the Bear Necessities? I have a small creek running across my property and one morning, my husband went out for a stroll and came running back saying "We have bear tracks! Come see!" iI responded with, "Oh no. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my". But we did name it Bear Foot Creek.
