Very nice, Im happy they gave us more faith spells to play around with they did really good with the DLC

You can time you attacks with blinkbolt’s aow wich is usefull in pvp
FYI gravel stone seal is a 15% boost and if you have one in each hand you get a 32% damage boost for dragon cult incantations

The entire Death Knight set boosts most of what you're using here and looks baddass. If you're worried about the poise soft cap switch out the legs for the malformed dragon greaves.

Death Knight DOES NOT boost anicent lightning (red lightning) it is only as its stated in the armor and is the Capital Dragon Cult (yellow lightning). Bolt of Granssax and Thundercloud form also do not get buffed as they are anicent lightning

Id consider carrying around a flowerstone gavel on the offhand as well. Charged ash of war reduces enemy lightning damage negation by 30%, would pair pretty well with the build when trying to get a bunch of burst damage off.
If i use it ill main the great axe put the two hand talisman instead of incantation talisman and if you can charge the aow put the godfrey thing on too and use a regular ligthning spear just for utility and picking target instead.it would be less allrounder like this but it will be more mana efficient you will have more red potion and have more points for the weapons because you cannot change the scaling.

similar to my build, but I use the black steel great hammer with Prayerful strike so I can alot more of my flasks to fp.
Ahhh see i started with that hammer, i felt it was really short but prob just my skill level in the game haha, but very nice combo on ur end using that wep ill give it another go
I use a lightning based build myself with more focus on the incantations and I don't think the lightning buff spells stack with flame grant me strength. I may be wrong tho but when I used then I'm sure they override each other.

I’m doing a full out lightning sorcerer build, I’m abusing priestess heart, howl of shabrir, golden vow, lightning shrouding tear, the new red tear, along side with flower stone gavel. I’m hitting 7k consistently on Radahn with my knights lightning spear.
@CFreshGaming which lightning buff would you say is better? The red lightning buff needs a weapon that can be infused with doesn't it? I know the electrobody buff doesn't need a weapon as it casts on just the body alone
@amirmoneyplayz8757 gravel stone seal and the death knight armor set boosts ancient dragon lightning by quite a bit. I use 2 gravel stone seals with the full armor set for max damage. Bonus bc along with the 2 Weapons it also looks cool 😎
@@droskibaby00 yeah I have both gravel stone seals, the priestess heart buffs my dragon cult incants by 20% as the death knight armor does only 8%. I just really like seeing high numbers. Also flower stone gavel buffs lightning damage an enemies effected by 17% it’s a really cool addition 😎
Is there something I can use instead of the gravel stone seal? I missed it on my first playthrough of the base game..
My main build is a lightning dex/fth build, lanseaxx glaive can be very useful its forward moving aoe splash does the same amount of stance damage at just hitting with the glaive, but still less damage than Fortisaxx ×2 spear.
Oo i did not know that the glaive gives high stance damage very nice!
@@CFreshGaming sorry if i didnt explain it well, not so much that it's high stance dmg but that it has knockdown on large enemies like omen, but yes it also deals its stance dmg equally from glaive to aoe splash.

I just run the priestess heart, flowerstone gavel Arcane/faith and just go ham with knights lightning. Godfrey talisman, alexander shard, blue dancer, scorpion lightning charm and a damage mitigation talisman depending on what you are fighting. Shit slaps like a truck but is def a glass cannon build
Is there a spear or sword that can hit lighting to the boss ? I saw a guy doin that in the server
I like the DLC even though others may say otherwise for their own reasons. I definitely made a lighting axe and dual axe build with the Black Steel Twin blades. Im high level like 259 so i can carry more obviously. You video made me look for these things a few weeks ago. I had a lighting build in the base game late game so it was something I already liked. 😎
the black steel twin blade is actually an awesome option i didn't think of at all.....nice play on that.

Flame grant me strength and dragonbolt blessing counter each other when buffing. For example: you cast golden vow then dragonbolt blessing and to help healing either bestial vitality or blessing of the Erdtree, that's good but if you cast flame grant me strength ontop of that it will overwrite the dragonbolt blessing getting rid of it and replacing it with flame grant me strength. There is a in depth video on what buffs stack and what don't but here is the key factor in it. Buffs like Flame grant me strength, black flames protection, protection of the Erdtree, dragonbolt blessing (Vyke's dragonbolt), Howl of Shabriri and even the new florissax dragonbolt don't stack, instead they overwrite each other after one is applied. (P.S. Florissax dragonbolt also overwrites Golden vow removing the damage buff)

@@CFreshGaming I've been experimenting with the dragon bolt of florrisax and I've found out that it's classified as a aura buff like golden vow, so like golden vow it can be stacked with body buffs like Flame grant me strength, Dragon bolt blessing, vykes dragonbolt, black flames protection, protection of the erdtree, howl of shabriri, and can also stack with boiled crab and craftable buffs. The only buff it does not stack with is golden vow. I hope this info also helps in your future build videos.
i believe the death knight armor set boost lightning incantations too, you can use that
Dragon cult incantations and skills get of boost of 8% when wearing full set. not bad. Wonder what that is compared to the Priestess heart dragon form tho.
was a hard to choose between full Incantation, Full weapon or hybrid. Decided to go for full Incantations, Lightning Spear alone deals absurd damage :P
Oh i bet, you must do so much damage with that if you went full incantations i still havent tried that route...imma give it a go lol
@@CFreshGaming yep, didn't try Hybrid, but that's a build on my list :D And I still don't have my 20% Dmg boost from the DLC....
but how to use a special ability of the second eqquiped weapon?

I can't obtain the gravel seal bc of ashen capital. Imma havta resort to erdtree seal. Awsome build though😄

Apparently lightning also stacks off of your dex, so leveling your dex high increases damage, and i've heard makes casting speed faster
Dex does make ur casting speed faster for sure, and really happy to know its worth putting some more points in dex... thank you!
Not sure about the damage unless it's associated with weapon but yeah def is known for making your faster casting time along with another talisman

It's not black flame, and it's a tool, not an incantation. I think the item is Horned Bairn, iirc.
Rich is right, its an item you receive in the DLC and you can use it as you would a spirit summon, honestly i just randomly walked into it and have no clue were i picked it up off the top of my head...if anyone can help with that please do lol
