Lots of full cages/shields and shoulder pads. Goaltending looks suspect and not D1 or D3 caliber. After some investigation it appears that your video is misleading. Yea the goalie went to Niagara as the video shows, but he played on the CLUB team....Not for the D1 Purple Eagles.

ACHA at the highest level is legit hockey. Not everyone wants to sit on the bench at a the D1 program.
